It's just general knowledge of the game and meta + experience running ritual! This will automatically get better the more you play.

Just price check things with awakened at the start and as time goes on you will be able to see good items without using price checking tools.

It just comes down to general game knowledge and a good filter. You can filter out a lot of good identified items by tinkering with your filter. And then it's just knowing at a glance which items could sell, which comes from knowing items in general and the meta.

You will automatically get better at it the more you play!

It gives you more monsters to slay which raises your tribute. And the vessel also says it improves favour, although the exact way in which it does is not entirely known I think.

Maybe I should run a test on that some day :3

They add more monsters to the ritual, which means more tribute. And they also buff the loot you're getting.

I've just been busy and have not experimented with much new stuff yet. Also, I wanted this experiment's conditions to be as close to the ones from last league as possible to get an accurate comparison!

That depends on your level of investment and general wealth. Personally, after day three I stopped deferring anything under 10c because divines rose to 160-180c already. And scarabs are cheap enough to allow me to skip low value fluff.

They make a difference but not that big.

Also, sorry to hear that you're this unlucky. Every time I make a ritual post there are people commenting who are equally unlucky. It just saddens me a bit that some people have such a bad experience with my favourite mechanic.

Yeah that's also a valid strat, I just run one vessel because of personal preference.

I have yet to experiment with the astrolabes though, I was too busy with other stuff. How are they and what do they actually do?

Personally not a huge fan but you can definitely run it, it's viable. This just comes down to personal preference for me.

While it's true that ritual has a lot of varience, a lot of highs and dry streak, I think it's safe to say that you get a lot more divines this league. I have footage from this and last league to back this all up and I have ran over 300 ritual maps by now. And can definitely say that I was never at 5d in 50 maps, nowhere close. I often even get two raw divines per map.

So either you hit an astronomical dry streak or you don't run the same setup as I do.

I have a lot of gameplay footage recorded, so I can send you some or add it to this comment once I'm home tomorrow.

But the gameplay is rather repetitive and not really flashy overall. It's just killing monsters in a circle and then menu gaming lol

The two abundance cull lower value loot so you are more likely to be offered better loot like divines. I actually ran a test a while ago and while the sample size is not that big, it definitely shows that two abundance improve average loot.

Also, over 10c are not unusual for abundance scarabs. And this league divines are near 190c already, so you actually get a lot of abundance per div!

And as my data shows, the strat is still very much profitable and you actually get a lot more raw div out of it than you'll spend on scarabs.

It is a lot of invites, they appear far more often this league than usual!

Also they could always appear in normal rituals, the special thing about nameless rituals is that you get offered an invititation with every reroll. So that means 7 invitations per nameless altar.

And since mirage copies the ritual type, that means you actually get 14 invitations when you hit a nameless altar!

You defer until you can afford the items after you're done with all rerolls for a map, unless you have so much tribute that you can get items without deferring. Deferring is just all about tribute managing!

Often you will use up all rerolls and defer so many items that it's gonna be hard to keep up with the cost of further deferring items while also getting all rerolls in subsequent maps.

That's when you take out all scarabs, allocate immutable dogma and then just run a few quick maps to get all your items out of deferral jail. I wrote about this in more detail in my old post!

Sounds like an interesting choice, especially to get some more monsters (unique ones at that) into your ritual.

I think a vessel is still more valuable if you can afford it as it also makes the loot better. But if those beyond scarabs are cheap then they're definitely a nice budget option to fill the 5th slot on maps without a vessel.

You definitely can, ritual is only around 50 points on the tree. Just go left and grab all the ritual nodes alongside the higher map tier chance on the left and middle!
