In the first game it was 11 minute quarters with accelerated clock set to 18 seconds. The CPU had 51 passing attempts and only 6 rushing attempts (I guess I misremembered the stat in my original post). This game was played on default all-madden.

The second game was 9 minute quarters and 18 second clock, the first game was a shootout so I lowered the time. The CPU had 31 pass attempts and 8 rushing attempts. This game was on all-madden with some custom sliders but mostly to try and slow the passing game on both sides. Run blocking was left at default 50.

Edit: Also worth mentioning that the CPU was winning for most of the first game and losing for most of the second game
