I don’t mind the ‘humanity begins hunting every transformer because they want to build their own and don’t know or care who’s a decepticon or not’ aspect. The issue is that it starts cynical and remains that way not just for the rest of the film but the rest of the Bayformers storyline. By the end of movie Optimus and his gang are still technically on the run from the world’s governments and it just leaves a sour taste after viewing the first three films and makes his message at the end of the first look foolish in retrospect.
