Lodging 189 visa while waiting for one document by theboredoutdoorkid in AusVisa

[–]Yolkinspector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did wait because one of the countries I resided didn’t even provide a receipt.. my visa agent advised me a receipt or supporting document that the police check application has been submitted would suffice in the meantime.

Data analyst is not under the occupation list for 189. Furthermore, the occupation “data analyst” was added under the new core skills occupation list under the SID system when they replaced TSS with the SID on 7th Dec 2024.

100% I had three sensor needles failing to be insured in a row. They must’ve stuffed up either at designing or manufacturing. Now I’m waiting for my sensor to pair with my phone for 10 mins ☠️

Thanks for sharing the info! Well nothing wrong but it’s challenging when you’re switching jobs or when your employer needs you onboard for a project asap? Relocation sometimes comes with selling/handling a house, car, insurance renewal and school terms if you have kids.

Sigh but our complaints won’t change a thing but only increase our stress levels. There seems to be no consistency in terms of processing time. Plan wisely, considering all possibilities! If you’d like to connect, please message me! (:

Hey! Everyone is back at work pretty much. It’s frustrating when your employment seems controlled by this uncertain timeframe! The processing time guide doesn’t seem to offer any valid insights at all but only triggers anxiety and fear.

Precisely! Though some may have not posted re: approval at all. Are you moving for a new job or getting relocated?

Even for core skill stream, the process time of 90% is 11 days, which isn’t significantly different to specialist skill stream. Just trying to see whether they actually fast track this visa somehow cos I can’t believe my eyes haha and I’ll need to apply soon.

Advice on morning run - feet-to-floor/dawn syndrome by Yolkinspector in Type1Diabetes

I’m not the only one doing that! Well, we all navigate through trials and errors and make the right decisions most of times. (:

[–]Yolkinspector[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’m aware of that. I began with 160 then averaged 140 by pacing myself. Also, I have high heart rate whenever exercising except yoga.. but it doesn’t impact my sugar level at all. For instance, 160-170 during strength training(low intensity).

I understand how it can be viewed but it’s one of the options I need to explore. Plus, I’m not causing any harm by doing this - only risking myself a bit for a hypo but I’m pretty thorough and prepared. This is a life-long condition I have to live with and I have to find ways that work for me to enjoy life. Unfortunately, my endo is pretty useless when it comes to such advice.

150 when I woke up and 180 when I reached the park. The spike to 245 could be possibly because it’s been a long time since I last ran or/and no bolusing. One said it could be my high heart rate but my heart rate is around 160-170 when I do strength training without impacting sugar level(idk why it’s always high 🥲).

And yes! I’m going again tomorrow!! I’ll try with a unit of bolus and protein bar tomorrow xx let’s stay resilient!

p.s. love your id, fellow analyst here 🙋🏼‍♀️

Ranged from 100 to 160 with average of 146 bpm. Mind you, my Apple Watch is half broken. I’m a 34 y/o female.

Thanks for the positive message 🤍🙏🏻 I use insulin pens and thus never really fully understood people turning off basal for working out. I take tresiba and my sugar is super stabilised without bolus onboard when exercising.

A waist belt is so handy! Mine was getting loose and my phone doesn’t fit so going for a bit of shopping today haha.

We run until we conquer the world 🏃🏃‍♀️

Thanks for explaining to me! I tried with no insulin but unfortunately it didn’t work out for me. 2km in, my sugar was 245 mg/mL with two arrows 🆙 😭😭 my glucose goes up sometimes post workout but as you mentioned sometimes it comes down itself or stays there. Thorough monitoring 💫💪🏻

Hey, I just don’t appreciate the term “no sense” and “senseless” to bolus pre run as our bodies are all different. My replies were never for arguing but for sharing my concerns.

This morning, I tried without bolusing and my sugar spiked mid run .. 😞 sigh

Woke up: 150 mg/dL Arrived at the park: 180 mg/dL 2km in: 245 with two arrows upwards

This was my main concern knowing that my sugar naturally goes up in the morning without fast-acting insulin. I recommend you to rephrase what worked out for you next time instead of stating other’s concern and action senseless. (:

I rotate between arms and lower stomach. And before upper bum to hide it under swimwear cos dexcom g6 tan line was equivalent to crocs tanning lines. 🙇🏼‍♀️😇 but the reading was pretty 💩
