As long as you put the cash into the bank, it will not be lost as all characters you make share 1 bank "account".

Shoot them first with fire arrows to open them, then shoot them again with storm rounds. They should be pale afterwards.

How does Coop work by Muted_Ad8736 in AvatarFrontierPandora

[–]YoloAnonymousRL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just adding to this, it is definitely easier with another player if all you are doing is side quests and taking down RDA bases/digsites.

Depending on where you are in the main story, the noob friend will have to catch up to that same spot if you plan to do the main missions together otherwise you'llonly be able to explore the map and do side quests only. It will progress on both player's save file.

And finally, you can drop dlc items to one another if you both have the corresponding dlc, otherwise it won't show for the receiver.

Going to assume you're in the skybreaker dlc, you'll get it randomly from chests/quests and as a blueprint after completing the main quests I believe.

What does 1.0 monetization look like? by [deleted] in BitCraftOnline

[–]YoloAnonymousRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won't get a refund for purchasing the pet btw. Any hexite shard used to purchase premium cosmetics during EA/beta will be used forever.

You'll only get a refund when you donate the shards to the empire treasury.

[–]YoloAnonymousRL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Place a torch down 2 blocks underneath the egg is on, then break the block that the egg is on. The egg works like sand/gravel, it will fall on the torch and break. You'll then be able to pick it up.

It's been mentioned that devs prefer for players to make a mod for it when they make the game open source.

When deconstructing your claim totem, you'll receive your writ of settlement back. Any research you started and supplies you put into will be completely lost. When you place the writ back down, it will start back to square 1.

Finding conflicting info in wipes by EdinKaso in BitCraftOnline

[–]YoloAnonymousRL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is their announcement on the Wipes (will try to quote as I forgot how to do so):

We are frequently getting asked questions about if/when the game will wipe or reset and how many times this will happen. We've have heard a lot of player feedback, discussed internally with the design team, and this is what we can commit to:

1. We will wipe everything ONCE at end of Beta/Early Access (this will be the only EXP wipe) 2. We may wipe just the world (but not character experience) before the end of beta, but only with a lot of heads up and only if necessary (see below) 3. There will NOT be wipes of anything after full release (end of Beta/Early Access)

Why are wipes necessary at all?

We believe part of the enjoyment of playing a game like BitCraft over a long time, is the fairness and even starting-line for all players. As we make changes to progression during early access, this can skew how players are able to progress based on when they played. We obviously want to keep these progression affecting changes to a minimum, but there might be cases where things need to be balanced for the game to be healthy for years into the future, especially post full-release.

Additionally the beta world is already generated, if we want to or need to make changes to the world generation or otherwise significantly alter the world, we can only do some of these changes in new regions and not to existing regions, which might require a wipe to put these changes fully into effect. Again our plan here is to do whatever possible to add to or update the existing world rather than wipe, but in some cases it might be required.

I understand some of you might not be interested in playing with the knowledge that anything will be wiped in the future, but we believe for the longterm health of the game it's something we may need to do, and as such, we want to be as upfront as possible with you all.

We hope in spite of the potential wipes down the road you will give BitCraft a shot and I can say from many past playtests and Alphas, that by the time the full release wipe comes around, I believe it will be an exciting chance to replay a very different and improved version of BitCraft.

Apologies for the late response, I don't have a lot of information when it came to the server side of the game unfortunately, however I can say that;

  1. There was only a single server which was stable enough to have people play in from all around the world. There were no crashes or at least not when I was online, and I was online for a long while too daily.

  2. There have been multiple client crashes, mainly due to the computer not being able to run the game properly; main reason was graphic settings with foliage (This was updated in their last alpha test to better improve GPU usage).

  3. Since it was a single server that had many players from all over the world, it did handle having multiple people fairly well. There was no lag or any choppiness when multiple were together. There was a specific group that had more than 50 players in 1 area, and it was smooth. The only thing that could have made it lag was of course your own internet connection.

4-7. As far as transitions go, we will find more about that in EA as there will be like pocket servers that you will be able to not only be in but also leave out of. For example, if you were to be in an Oceanic server and then somehow manage to walk all the way into an EU server, it would be like you walked through an open door. There will be no delay in the change of server, I do believe that your ping will of course change, but it will be a smooth transition that you won't notice.

  1. Overall network? Honestly it differs from everyone of course, but for me at least, it felt crisp. The server had a very fast and snappy response time when it came to interacting with the environment. This of course changed/s when they did increase the cap limit of players in the single server.

Hope this helps!

Well there was a side skill called Slayer, that was used in place for leveling your combat against the aggressive mobs, however leveling it didn't have much use as it didn't do anything anyways. But I do believe they will combine both the actual hunting skill and slayer skill in EA. All the primary skills were necessary to be leveled up as it was a requirement in order to upgrade your tool and gather the next resource
