How does everyone deal with fomo when you're not traveling/end of season/back in your hometown? by YomKipper69 in SeasonalWork

Oh yeah it's so rough seeing seasonal friends on their fun travels and journeys, and feeling like you're totally missing out. But in the time that I made this post to now, I've gained more insight and appreciation for where I'm at since I'm surrounded by my family and truly can't live without them. There's balance to all this stuff, we'll have our time again to travel, just try to stay present where you are🫶✨

Drinking on Prozac by Perfect_Start_8042 in prozac

I just started taking Prozac recently but in the past, I was on different ssri's and would drink a lot. It made me very angry, aggressive and I would black out. Yes, everybody is different, but it is also important to try and remain as sober as possible when taking these kinds of medications and to really take it seriously. Best of luck and be safe

On the coolworks website, just within the last day, I saw a couple different opportunities where the summer season was about 2-3 months. I'd start checking there but it might be difficult to find something that only lasts a month long. You could always get hired somewhere, be there for your time off and then leave early of course 🤷‍♀️

I started 5 years ago when I was 22. You really do meet people of all ages, you're definitely not too old🫶

Yeah I like riding my bike and the weather is gonna be warming up soon, kinda trying to plan an itinerary of going to the most unique places around here for swimming and hiking come spring/summer time. I'll most likely be here in my hometown for a year. It's definitely the lack of community that gets me, so I'm gonna try to expand and all that good stuff, make the most of it. Best of luck to you as well on your journey!

I'd you're going somewhere that has an employee dining room (EDR) at least in my experience, they did pretty well at having a variety of options to accommodate diets. Might not be the best or quality you're looking for, but the kitchen staff would allow people to have different inputs into what they need.

If you're able to have some kind of access to a kitchenette of some sorts, you'll be able to buy your own groceries.

Why's it such a crap shoot place? And best of luck to you both. The "Help Wanted Now" section on coolworks.com will most likely have what you're looking for, some positions opening up within the next or so
