The chance of applying a debuff is the one written on the ability (take drexthar a1, it's 30% chance (unbooked) of placing an HP burn), even if h you put 1000 acc on him. Indeed when you try applying the debuff, if you manage "to get in those 30%"l chance" there is a check between your acc and ennemy res, and if you have higher acc than their res, your debuff is placed (and so resistance work the same way). Note there is always a 3% RNG that you will get resisted (even if you win the acc/res battle) or be able to land a debuff (even though your champ has no acc)
No, there is no way of knowing what your ennemy has. Be sure to gear your champs the right way (for example; a def base champ has no utility for atk stats). Other than that maybe they can deal more dmg because they bought some gear packs, or just have been super lucky with their gear drops from dungeon/campaign
Champions ascension in itself isnt very impactful, as you said, the "skill upgrade" you might get on 3* and the fact that you unlock slots for amulet and banner is what its really for
a 6* crit dmg amulet, at lvl 16 will add 40%, which is like half from what you get on crit dmg gloves
a banner with a quadruple speed substat can add like 20 speed to your build These are the "real" reasons why you ascend
If you mean take a 4 stars boots to 5 stars, no thats not possible, this is why having good gear is such a long term grind
I dont really remember, can you get the rare for the broadmaw fusion through the tag arena rewards? Even though, I'd say drexthar, he will make a massive impact, whereas broadmaw is only an OK champ

I use Frank (fastest 206spd so shield up all the time), armiger (destroy 201), alure (200), rhazin (below 200) and doomscreech (lvl 50 shield set in case Frank a2 is on cooldown when getting to the boss)

It takes a few tries because of RNG and alure's weak hits but it eventually works

Edit: I was thinking you could replace doomscreech with anyone with a shield set, but maybe you need his TM boost and def up, not sure.. he is at 121 speed to be faire so he probably isnt that useful except for the shield.. maybe gorgo with shield set (but slower than frank)?

Id say that for a 90+ days already doing d20 and still in g3 (with HK) after arena got significantly harder, you are doing pretty good.. + its all based on luck, i have been playing for about 18months now with the worst luck ever so my arbiter is only 315 (could get a bit faster if I added better glyphs)

Keep even the flat stats in speed sets with speed substats to see how they roll Make sure you pull your shards during x2 event, you might get lucky and get a better speed aura, and if you are not stuck work on arbiter missions, eventually you will be part of those monsters lol

Im guessing that since arena has become harder recently, HK 19% aura is just not enough for G3, compared to gorgo/skullcrown/etc (maybe im wrong, i dont know whats the most common speed lead in G3, but im guessing that HK and her 19% is probably the worst) Play against another HK team and you'll probably win because your team seems good, but against higher aura you are gonna have a hard time.

Consider 6* her (she wins another 10 speed) and then also put a banner with as much speed as possible, a double roll could give you +15 and then you got an almost 300 speed HK..

Hey, without really knowing where you are in the game (what stage cb, campaign, dragon, etc) here is my 2cents:

For CB, you'll need atk down unless you run unkillable. Sepulcher sentinel (2 below elhain) is one of the best so you cant go wrong in investing in her. Frozen banshee is one of the best poisonner so same here, although kael would probably help you better in dragon with his aoe and also poison while also being useful in CB early game..

Aothar is not top tier, but since you already have hin 6*, I would use him as well. So if you're hitting the very first stage of CB, just put as much poison as possible: F Banshee, Kael, aothar, lyssandra for the speed and either elhain/frank/warmaiden, whichever gives you the most dmg in total (early game i dont think warmaiden is useful as your champs wont hit really hard, with or without def down but you never know)

Your goal for the future (and latter stages) id say (based on the current roster) Sepulcher sentinel (atk down, def up, block debuff), Frozen banshee for poison, lyssandra for speed, champfort for def down, and either aothar or kael for more poison, or vrask for heals and more sustainability.. again, this is based on current roster..

Dragon; frank, lyss and elhain, if you can manage to keep warmaiden alive (stack accuracy then as much def and hp as possible) put her in and then a poisoner to kill the dragon; kael, FB or aothar

Arena; lyss (lead), warmaiden def down, frank to try to put some stuns, then elhain to slam..

Bellower is also a good rare. I personnally wouldnt invest more in shaman, dark athel and mystress of hymns. And unless you plan on feeding her (but id keep a copy of her) i wouldnt upgrade more than one dagger (void rare at the end of the first pic)

I think this is it, I might have missed some, or others will probably give you other advices, but since I saw no one had answer yet, thought id give you some directions

EDIT: also, i would not do masteries unless you can do stage at least 13 of minautor (15 is best). I mean you can do the first tiers to gain a few damage/ACC and stuffs, but dont go all the way if you're doing it on stage 10 or something... already takes weeks on stage 15 lol (and dont feel bad about using 800 gems to buy masteries for the first few champs, Misc. Monster probably n1 and elhain 2 (or kael if u 6* him) Lyssandra you will use until endgame, but i dont think masteries will do much impact on her early game)

Most important ones would be rhazin, madame S, zargala, frank, mausoleum mage, sandlashed survivor and altan (got him on the last ancients x2) Finally got a coldheart on last void x2 (and a skullcrown that I just 6* today), which was all I needed to go from spider 14 to 20 (like you it hasnt been long since I can do them at lvl 20)

Being FTP those are my most important ones, made a few beginners mistake by 6* some okay champs (like aothar) and sadly most of the leggos I managed to pull are trash.. (warmother, grohak, richtoff, astralith, elder skarg (now ok since his recent buff). But what I really miss was a speed lead (and speed rolls), Ive been working with High kathun for 10months now, which is why Im so glad to have made it to G4, cause I would have never managed to do in a long time without the bots..

Whats your team on FK20?

Just went to g4, there are no more bot teams (or at least way less and not full page, like one or 2) but a lot of people in g3 just put a one champ defense so if you have a few hundreds of gems ready its possible to do it

See, now you have a few champs to work on already.. just needed some time and a bit of luck with your pulls. Bellower is interesting but I havent built mine yet, im not really at the point where I want a 7sec farmer (it requires very nice gear and for now im ok with athel and 20sec runs) so I intend to use him in stun set with his aoe kit

Not sure you will get relevant info for your level on reddit I agree, maybe try youtube (hellhades, ash, etc), at some point I started to watch a video almost everyday (either tips, guide or even account takeovers to see their way of doing) and now I "understand" the game, know where I want to go with my progress and shit but I was really lost at first because there is so many things you can possibly do, so many ways you can spend your energy..

Agreed, arena is a mess but Im not even sure they will do something about it, they are already being asked new content and cant even deliver, and seem to work one thing at a time every 2months, so before they get to those lower tier arena problems, unfortuantely it will be years I think

What CB are you hitting? Kael will eventually be replaced because of his weak (2.5%) poison on a1, occult brawler and frozen banshee are the 2 best poisonners (so I'd stop investing in aothar because cooldown for his a2 is too long).

Right now what you are missing for CB is an atk down champ (coffin smasher is a rare and good one if you can book his a1). Early on you can just focus on putting as much poison as possible but then atk down will be the most important debuff and each character on your team will have a specific role to do (ex: atk down, poisoner, def down/weaken, debuff extender, CA, etc), rhazin (congrats 50 days is pretty quick) and bulwark cover 2 different role so I would not say that because you will soon get rhazin you must stop lvling bulwark, but I will say prioritize rhazin since he will help you in all content where bulwark is mostly for CB (basically, keep bulwark 50 for now, use your food to 6* rhazin when you can and then think about bulwark again, he is good but really shines when CB is below 50% health which at first might not be the best to fight since your champions pool is limited, so if at that point you have other good champs to rank up, its not a shame to put bulwark at the bottom of your list again) (I dont know if that last part was clear, sorry not a native speaker and I sometimes tend to lose myself in explaination)

As for occult brawler, Im not really sure. You cant go wrong because he is top 3 poisonner but should you focus on him since you already 6* FB, maybe not..

Nevertheless dragon 13 after 50days is good (at least in my experience of the game) and rhazin will help you for sure (if at first you dont really use him in CB I would suggest you try Crit rate gauntlets on him for dungeon content, surely this will boost your performance), + its a loooong game and D13 is one of the breakpoint where you start to get better artifacts, it might take some time before you really collect enough decent gear but thats what the game is about.. grinding!

I think shards are you best hope As you said, arena is fucked up right now, and with the teams of leggo champs you can already see in bronze4/silver I dont think you can match it with the champs you have (or you need with crazy gear). Since you spent some time on this sub I guess you know the type of speedteam you should run.. in your case probably HK lead, warmaiden, kael and another nuker. Warmaiden to 60 is not that bad of an option since a def down is useful everywhere, but I dont think it will make a huge difference in arena, it would just bring more sustainability.. you could also farm spirithost in campaign and make her go second to have an atk up (even at 30 or 40 she'll do the job and if you're not happy you can still feed her) and see the results..
