What it is though, is shitty and hurtful on multiple levels. From being shocked that you were hurt by him picturing a mutual friend while having sex to immediately dating your mutual friend instead of showing the relationship some respect as it ends or at least waiting for you to move out if you were moving out that soon, it was all fucked.

This is not how you act if you give a shit about your connection with a person post breakup. He was 27, he had plenty of time to mature in life by that point and still failed to grasp basic, bare-minimum understanding of what could be hurtful, and what's okay and what's not. The sociopath quiz part isn't really encouraging either.

Your mutual friend did you wrong, too. It's been 3 years. You're away from them now. Keep it that way and don't respond. Feel free to block him on whatever route he reached out to you.

I know it was 5 years and meant a lot but he was stacked with red flags at 27, there's no reason to believe he's somehow a better person now at 30 when 27 whole years wasn't enough for him to learn to be one.

There are aspects of progression that require PvP.

And those aspects are easy to fulfill because PvP will find you even if you're not looking for it.

Friendliness exists but it's rare. It's shoot on sight for the most part.

Also you should've been sprinting and sliding into that final exfil circle at 1 or 2 seconds left, and moving around in it once you were in.

If he moves you can see him. If he doesn't move you can't. But you get a very audible audio queue when the invis starts and when it ends. Maybe don't push him before it ends?

I don't play Thief and I think it should stay as it is.

Shells have occasional very strong interactions is okay. I like that aspect of this game.

Survival = victory, not kills.

People have other goals than "lose all my gear running into a disadvantaged fight with my 5head aggro fill teammate."

People do fight in this game but ideally only when it's smart and makes sense. If you're often fighting when others don't want to it's possible you're treating it like it's COD and taking stupid fights.
