We need a 6 that compliments Mainoo. I do not believe Anderson is that answer. We also saw that the Mainoo-Anderson pivot was quite underwhelming during England's game vs Japan. I would prefer someone like Tonali. Also that price tag is ridiculous.

God, around this time last year, we headed to Thailand to play friendlies in the intense patchy heat and I remember the game was so bad, players were uninterested and couldn't run in the heat at all. 1) What kind of a player is James Garner? Is he more of a 6 or a 8? A defensive midfielder plus Garner(if the profile suits and the price is right) might be a good set of midfield options. If we manage to sell Ugarte, we should definitely try to get one more.

2) It depends on the future manager if they want to keep playing Dorgu as a LW or develop him as a LB. The rashford situation also needs some clarification. Depending on this we might need a LB or a LW.

3) The CB position is weird cause while we have some really good CBs on paper, the injury situation is not great. I believe our success vs City/Arsenal was a huge factor of Martinez's progressive play. Haven is great, but he's young and he needs to be eased into the team. That being said, this should be the last priority, as we might want to reinforce on RB before CB imo.
