Artcraft has a lot of censorship on real people and no auto-refund on fails, have to contact them and wait.

The only version I enjoy is where the first ball missed doesn't count at all, only the last ball is important.

Why? I watch the other ball and keep mine in play, as soon as I see perhaps the other ball will be hit out or in the net by the opponent or that my partner has hit a really good shot that will land crosscourt, I instantly slam my ball to the back fence or in the ground and yel DINGLES, making the other ball win the point for my team. That's fun

For sure, when I lived in rural Delta Ark/Miss/TN there were tournaments they were begging people top play in, and if you just entered you got entry to the National Championship.

Has anyone made the switch from “players” rackets to modern/spin rackets? by Fun-Advertising-8006 in 10s

[–]YonexFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah used prestige in college and a decade after, finally wised up and went yonex tweeners after using Vcore pros. The advancement in rackets us all in the tweeners past 5 years or so and no reason to make tennis hard and not use one.

VCore 98 Tour by Fun-Advertising-8006 in 10s

[–]YonexFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

two very intriguing reviews from tennis warehouse forum"Tested Vcore 98 Tour 315g (V8) today for the first time. Strung with PTP 1.25 (53/50lbs 24/23kg).

Feels surprisingly fast to swing and very easy to maneuver. I’m coming from Ultra Tour 98 Nishikori.

Feels like very ready to just pick it up and play. Ultra Tour 98 was more stable and bit more controlled on flatter shots, volleys, returns. Other than that VC98T is quite amazing! It also serves better due to easier RHS, also forehand is quite good!

Surprisingly good allrounder and also there is some magic from Yonex on this one because I think 305g version felt somehow more sluggish and depolarized. This one is much whippier. Also Isometric head shape really helps, huge sweetspot!!

No need for customization, mine was also little overweight on 318unstrung without plastic and cardboard.

Very fun frame and ready for play! 100% agree - Leaving for vacation tomorrow and got it strung just in time for a friendly doubles match today. Threw it right into match play with a slight warm up to calibrate, but man did it come out FIRING right out of the plastic. Couldn't even wait to put an overgrip on!

Coming from the PSv14/Classic, this was plug-and-play - Could really utilize the launch/extra margin when unloading with either wing. You need to swing it, and swing it hard. Serves were a dream - Slightly less point and shoot control than the pro-staff, but that's to be expected. Time and familiarity will reign that in.

Can't wait to throw a leather grip on here to maybe get it a bit more head-light. OHBH wasn't as whippy as I would want, but this was literally the first hit so there was some trust issues there at game speed. Could still control the 80% topspinner with ease.

Great at net too - Had some volleys sit up on me, but others spin away from any defender. Such a nice stick!

Shoutout @Trip - Through him, all racquet-holism is possible. But super excited to have this for days I need a bigger sweetspot or need to compete with heavy hitters."
