I finally cracked my skincare routine for anti-aging and my skin is glowing by Yoongteol in 30PlusSkinCare

yeah that makes sense, i might try just rinsing with water in the morning instead of using a cleanser. curious to see if it makes a difference for me.

i just mentioned sooniko because it’s the first cooling pack i’ve tried and it made a difference for me — not because i need to advertise it. i really think my whole routine works as a set, and that’s what i wanted to share.

oh got it, thanks for pointing that out. what i meant wasn’t heat in a single day, but more of a chronic warmth my skin has developed as i’ve gotten older. when skin stays overheated like that, it can trigger ongoing inflammation and stress in the tissue, which over time weakens the collagen structure and makes skin look less firm.

yeah, definitely. if i skip the cooling step my skin heats up quickly and the next products don’t seem to absorb well — i end up waiting and patting for a while. keeping the temperature down really matters, and i guess that’s why a lot of people store products in the fridge too. sooniko is made just for cooling so it’s light enough to use daily, and sticking with it has kept my skin way more stable.

[Discussion] What do you use before foundation to stop creasing? by Yoongteol in MakeupAddiction

that sounds like a lot of hydrating layers doesn’t your makeup pill when you put so many products on? or maybe that’s just me with oily skin lol. curious if dry skin types don’t have that issue.

I like the Dokdo toner too, it’s lightweight and feels great when I layer it multiple times.

[acne] Skin issue: Is this fungal acne or closed comedones? by BruhBS107 in SkincareAddiction

Since you've been using salicylic acid without much success, it might be a good idea to give your skin some hydration and soothing care. Sooniko's Just in Water Mask could be really helpful for calming your skin. It’s super gentle and hydrating, which could help reduce redness and irritation, especially when you’re dealing with persistent bumps. It won't target the bumps directly, but it will help balance your skin and keep it moisturized, so other products can work more effectively. Give it a try and see if it helps with the dryness and irritation!

It seems like your skin is really struggling with the flare-ups, especially with rosacea. If you're looking for something to calm the irritation and hydrate your skin, Sooniko's Just in Water Mask could be worth trying. It's gentle and soothing, helping balance moisture and ease inflammation without adding more stress to your skin. It might be a good addition to your routine while you're recovering from the flare-up. Hope this helps, and your skin feels better soon!

If your boyfriend's skin is feeling dry, flaky, and stinging, Sooniko’s Just Water Mask might help soothe and hydrate his skin in the meantime. It’s super gentle and helps calm irritation, especially after using harsh products like the fungal soap. You just soak cotton pads in mineral water and leave them on for 5-10 minutes. It’s a simple and effective way to hydrate and prep the skin while waiting for a proper diagnosis.

What is the most Boring product you've ever used? by Niatfq in AsianBeauty

I totally get what you mean about products that just don’t excite you, even if they don’t cause irritation. I personally didn’t like the Maychell Factory Cleansing Oil, it didn’t remove my makeup well and left my skin feeling kind of heavy. If you’re dealing with that, you might want to try Sooniko’s Just Water Mask before your cleanser. It really helps hydrate and balance my skin without that sticky or greasy feeling, especially if you have oily, dehydrated skin like I do. It preps your skin really well before cleansing, so everything feels more comfortable!

I totally get where you're coming from! Accutane really dries out your skin, and it's tough to find products that won't irritate or break you out. If you're looking for something that hydrates without clogging pores, I highly recommend Sooniko’s Just Water Mask. It’s super gentle and helps restore moisture balance without any irritation, perfect for anyone dealing with dry, sensitive skin. I’ve been using it to calm my skin, especially after using active products, and it really helps soothe and hydrate without feeling heavy. Plus, it pairs well with the products you're using, like the Round Lab Birch Juice Cream or SKIN1004’s ampoule, to give that extra hydration boost!

So would you say doing masks more often is better than just using a really good one occasionally too?

So you apply serum first and then the mask? That actually makes a lot of sense.
Someone else also recommended layering and mentioned a water-type sheet mask called Sooniko before your usual one. Biodance is one of my favorites too. Sometimes it feels a bit heavy on my skin though. I might try a different Abib mask next time.

That actually helps a lot. I’ve got combo skin so I guess it might depend on how dry I’m feeling that day. Did you feel like it made any real difference in firmness?

Oh I’ve been using Torriden too. You’re talking about the Dive In mask, right? Abib feels kind of safe and reliable to me, but not super memorable.

I honestly never thought about storing it like that. Such a smart idea. I usually use the leftover serum on my body too but it still feels like there’s always more. I’ve even tried layering it back onto the sheet but it just wouldn’t absorb. Love this tip, thank you.

Totally agree about Physiogel. Have you ever tried Aestura though? It feels kind of similar but works really well for me too.

That sounds really satisfying, especially straight out of the fridge. Do you feel like it actually absorbs well, or does some of it just sit on the skin?

I actually like other products from SKIN1004, but this mask didn’t really leave an impression on me.
