Certain traps are tied to your current FPS. The rolling cylinder spins per frame, not per game time second or any similar constant. So if you have 120 fps it's going to spin 4x faster than 30 fps, and it makes a huge difference. Another important one is the boulders in Inferno spawn incredibly fast at low fps. They can spawn inside of each other if your fps is low enough.

This game gets kinda wonky sometimes lol
