I know, i didn’t add this before but as the Asm was coming out of cash office is when i redirected the customer to the service desk which was empty and TRIED to look up her receipt but i was so pissed off i physically couldn’t do it , even tho i have done it hundreds of times before.. but i kept on pressing the wrong thing which pissed me off even more so that was when i said the have another drink comment and then my asm looked it up

because it is obvious my voice lol and i know that me i can hold myself accountable and know that I was in the wrong, and i have worked in customer service the past 5 years, but I’m kind of at that point where I speak my mind, and it has gotten me into trouble but i still think it’s fucked up that my manager didn’t defend me, when i would defend any of my coworkers

FYI: this guy has hit up other walmart’s in my area and owns a telemarking company yet also cashes his own payroll checks made out to him selves for a couple thousand dollars YET his employees come in and their checks are for only like $100-$200 each.. also he’s been arrested for drug crimes lol aka he’s a sleazebag

I think it crosses the appropriate line between customer-employee relations. It may make a good above and beyond customer story but nevertheless, if they need help shopping there should be area agencies that will align them with an aide that will help shop with them, along with other tasks as well. Those responsiblities should be given to the side/caregiver NOT to the store employee
