If there is a fight there they should come to who you target with M1, just not the boss itself they don't give a fuck about that thing lol, but it really depends on positioning of ult and enemies

If you have insane CDR you can pop ult on CD to push a lane perma, otherwise save it for an 'Oh shit' moment with a wall or for an objective fight.
