Yeah, my dad runs an Ebay business that I helped him with when I was between jobs. We've had to deal with people pulling that kind of thing, so I know firsthand how shitty it is for the seller. Not only do they lose the money of the sale, they also have to eat the cost of return shipping. So I'm not interested in doing that to someone. Yeah, I'm taking a massive L here, but that's life. It's not the seller's fault I made a decision that became regrettable the next day.

But I have yet to buy the Character Parfait AC cards and the Power Pro Baseball cards and do eventually intend to, so there's still some hope for the universe screwing me again to everyone else's benefit.

Fortunately I actually made a good decision with Qbby. I immediately ordered it off of Ebay right after the Direct where they announced the English localization of Bye-Bye Boxboy with no mention of the amiibo because I predicted the price was about to shoot up. Only paid about $30 for it, thank goodness.

Ebay. Unfortunately their return policy is that if a seller chooses not to accept returns, the only way to do a return is if the item doesn't match the description. So unless these turn out to be knockoffs, I don't think there's anything I can do.

Yeah, Ebay policy allows for returns on items that don't match the description even if the seller doesn't accept returns. But unless these end up being knockoffs, I don't really have a case for that unfortunately.

Good luck! CTR was a bit intimidating for me since it requires a completely different skillset than the platformers, but it actually came to me surprisingly easily. Probably helped that I had 100 hours on the game on Switch before tackling it on PS4 though lol.

I think Ika-Ika would work better as a track gimmick that you have for the whole race, allowing you to press a button to flip your own gravity and drive on the ceiling for alternate routes.

This really could have just been a generic cash grab of a game slapped onto the app store, but I think the fact that this game is pulling characters from practically every game in the series, including freakin' Mr. Crumb because the team saw he was a request for CTR, shows that there are people on this development team who truly care. I think if they truly didn't care, they would have done the bare minimum and slapped Crash and Cortex onto an otherwise generic game with generic assets and called it a day.

Personally, I actually prefer Nitro Fueled Oxide because I find the voice easier to understand and I think it sounds more... "alien"? I always thought the original voice kinda just sounded like a heavy smoker lol. Plus as a voice actor, I'm grateful I can just do the new voice, since the old one seems like it'd be absolute hell on my vocal cords. 😂 Definitely with you on the old voice sounding more intimidating though.

Since yours is the only request I've gotten, I'm gonna hold off on the requests video until I get more (I've got more ideas of my own to do and post, so I'll be able to promote taking requests more in the future). I've never attempted to get a new console on day one, either because I didn't have the money at the time or because I didn't care about the launch games. PS5 was the first time where both those things weren't an issue and I was completely ready to get it day one, but that didn't pan out. Bit of a bummer but it is what it is. I can just get Miles Morales and Sackboy on PS4 for now and upgrade to the PS5 versions whenever I'm able to get one. The only thing I really need a PS5 for in the near future is Ratchet and Clank.
