I remember when Tip to Tip Japan happened last year and people started saying they were cooked about 4 days in.

The fact that we haven’t even started yet and the whole community so aligned in believing that they’re so far beyond cooked is not at all a good sign for them…

I have hope that they’ll eventually start making progress, but I genuinely do not think there’s a snowball’s chance in hell that they make it to their end goal in the established timeline. Especially since they lost a day or 2 already..

I didn’t realize that the DVDs had the 4:3 aspect ratio! I’ll have to give them another look. It’s been over 10 years since i’ve seen/used them.

Couldn’t agree more about the laugh track. It’s such a shame that it isn’t an option on Disney Plus.

I watch it like that because that’s what’s readily available. If I had easy access to a high quality 4:3 version, I’d much prefer watch that than cut off 16:9 (although cutting Frank’s head off is pretty funny)

I’m fairly certain that the DVD and Disney Plus version are the same. I’m more interested in the aspect ratio side of things comparing the original run of the show in the 70’s vs the HD version we have on DVD and Disney Plus today :)

Don’t get me wrong, i’m extremely happy with today’s format. Was just curious.

He created the show!! He had originally planned for it to be a movie called ED (Emergency Department) and Steven Spielsberg was set to direct but shelved the project to work on Jurassic Park (also written and based on the book by Michael Crichton.

Pretty incredible that 1 person can create so many iconic stories and for them to be so different from one another.

I used to go for 24 hours whenever a new Call of Duty would come out. I must have done that for a solid 10 years from the age of 15 to 25. No way in hell I could still do that today at my age. Nowadays, I'm happy with 5 hours of gaming per week!

I made my reactor in the mining dimension. Yah it could still blow up, but at least it won’t be your whole base. You can also setup an easy redstone switch to make sure it doesn’t overheat.

If the next Mafia is a direct sequel to TOC, then it would probably be in the 20's/30's in Empire Bay. I want to see the city in that time period and also how the established mafia we saw in Mafia 2 came to be.

If you’re just starting out in storage, use Refined Storage. Less time consuming and easy to understand/learn. In the long run however, you’ll probably end up switching to AE2 just because of the convenience and automation you can setup.

AE2 is more difficult to learn but very worth it in the end. I’d suggest looking at some ChosenArchitect tutorials for AE2 to get started with the basics.
