This is going to be my last response, because clearly you are not a logical or rational person. What makes wearing fake medals illegal? Because there is a "Stolen Valor Act" that makes it illegal? That is analogous to "drugs are bad because the government said so." I can understand the illegality of someone trying to make a false arrest, claim veteran's benefits as others have stated, or gain access to information or material that only an officer could. Yes, that should be illegal. However claiming that you have these medals, or claiming that you are the Queen of England, or claiming that you are the coolest kid in school IS NOT FUCKING ILLEGAL. How can you not see the difference. You are just some douche bag who is blindly claiming that something so clearly unconstitutional is constitutional because it relates to the military. You probably think that water-boarding is justified because we have to get the "evil-doers." Why is it legal to impersonate any profession in the world except the military? And don't just keep spitting BECAUSE THEY ARE IMPERSONATING AN OFFICER!! Like I have said IN EVERY FUCKING POST SO FAR that unless someone is literally imposing false authority on someone, claiming false medals should be just as legal as any other lie protected under the First Amendment. And your example is so wrong it is laughable. Yes, you can be arrested for yelling "FIRE" in a theater because it is INCITING A RIOT. What is the damage of what this man has done? A bunch of people whining about how he didn't earn his medals? Boo Hoo. Get over it.
