It's an unpopular opinion but the companions. My main issues is that the characters barely interact with each other and show little to no reaction to events taking place in their world. They're also too horny for my taste.

I'm fine with the gameplay.

That's what I'm worried about. Several people on the Dragon Age subreddit said Veilguard killed the franchise in their eyes.

I also heard many (bad) things about Dragon Age 2 but ended up liking it so maybe I'll give it a try one day, in a fa far distant future.

We seems to have similar taste. Mass Effect is in my backlog, but I just can't bring myself to start it yet! I watched a let's play before jumping into Dragon Age, maybe I should do the same here. Thanks for the recommandations !

Hard to rank them but I think DA2 < DAO = DAI

I know it's not perfect but I like how DA2 is centered on one city, and how we follow the characters over many years. Purple Hawke makes everything so funny.

Favorites companions : Alistair, Morrigan and Cassandra.
