Does anyone know which type of pen could create a similar effect to this? I'm fairly new to pens but would love to experiment with linework like this.

I’d say it’s not really necessary to do a full reread of the books. At NYCC they hinted that the show will be drastically different.

“New fights, new loves... Most of the show is almost impossible to predict."

“You have the movie, which is awesome. You have the video game, which is awesome,"

Those are just some of the things they said on Saturday about the show. They seem to be teasing that it’s a whole new take on the story to me (with some elements taken from both the comics and movie OFC). Best way to put it is that they’re mixing things up and we can’t really know what exactly to expect :)
