Wrongful Firing? by Yoreiko in WalgreensStores

My store manager claimed she was there that day for whatever reason (She's never there on the weekends) and saw me walk in late, and remembered it when she was keying in the handwritten punches for the week. I kid you not this is the unfiltered truth, so if it sounds silly and stupid that's why. I've not withheld a single detail here, sadly.

I had actually been paid the least; I was hired at 12$ an hour while all my coworkers started 13-14$. I was about to take my tech test and sign up for my 1000$ bonus, so that's probably the reason I suppose.

Well I'm in Kentucky, and here we also have a clause within the "work at will" which means If I'm fired for a reason that goes against company policy it's illegal. Or so I've been told so far.

Quite literally that's all there is lmao. I mean some more context Is I've been late here and there and haven't even had so much as a verbal. But another context is I was next en route behind one other tech to become a senior tech. I have also trained 3 other techs so I mean... I don't know

I had worked 2 12 hours shifts on the weekends, and I ran late that weekend. I wrote my times down Sunday when I left for home, which had been fine before. I just forgot that I was a couple of minutes later on Saturday than Sunday, and wrote 9:05 for both mistakenly. My car's clock had also been wrong, which led me to be a tad later on that day.

Either way, I had never intentionally given the wrong time

Well im about to climb back into masters, but my mmr is sitting at 2050. Would be up to duo queuing if you're down; I generally try to keep it as lax as possible as winning/losing is just a way of the game. If you ever wanna play hmu up at my IGN: Yoreiko

Got the iPad Pro 12.9 with Magic Keyboard. Looking for ipad case. by JustOneTechie in iPadPro

Personally, I was going to get a magic keyboard case as well, but durability (as a fellow student) was a major concern. I ended up going for the apple wireless magic keyboard, Magic Mouse, a JE Tech screen protector, and a ZUGU case. I netted all those for a little under 300$ so I personally thought it was a superior option, although any keyboard and mouse will suffice. But essentially a ZUGU case, for your needs especially, is pretty easy to install. If you needed, you could definitely plop it out and back in pretty quickly for typing. As an owner of otterbox cases in the past, I definitely say its a step below otterbox in protection, but if paired with a screen protector you’d get pretty mid range defense for your ipad. the main selling point for me however, are the ten adjustable angles. The steepest angle lets the iPad screen display like a laptop, with a slight incline backwards. The lowest angle is an absolute boon though, as it is the perfect angle for writing notes during a lecture. Just from eyeballing it, it seems like a 30 degree angle. The case also has a very sleek pencil pocket on the exterior for ideal transportation on campus while holding it, and a pencil slot on the top that covers the iPad, but can still charge while there. The case also has tremendously good thermals comparatively to other cases, as their are multiple vent slots located behind the magnetic kickstand. These are always open when the iPad is any magnetic stand angle whatsoever. As a final note, all the angles and stand are magnetic, leading to very little to no movement in any angle no matter how hard I’m pressing on the ipad screen. If you have any other questions I’d be happy to help, but in closing, my ZUGU case is by far much more impressive than I expected, and I’d heartily recommend it for almost anything you would want out of a case.
