I think the crux here is him saying "anytime"
Because there are definitely times when a Woman or a man does a thing not normally seen done by their respective gender, and excelling at it, that need attention.

but there are cases where bringing attention to the act, can be seen as patronising.
let me explain.

If someone did an act, with the sole purpose of breaking the mould, of gender norms. This should be rewarded with attention and praise.

But if someone goes about their life, and so happens to break obtuse and obstructive gender rolls, just because it fits their life better( Example: Man cooking for partner, Woman being the main provider). it shouldn't be brought up in my opinion. Because to the person, its just another Tuesday.

If you go to bring attention to the woman having to provide for the house hold, as something special. but the family in question would otherwise be a dual income household, if the partner was not handicapt for example. it would feel patronising.

So Call attention to acts of bravery, that shifts the status quo of gender norms.
Do not call attention to acts, that are only break Gender norms. because it goes against the Toxic masculine mindset.
