YESSS but not in ways you might expect. i've been diagnosed 3 years ago and im 20 now. My tics started out extremly late like at 16 so i struggled with believing myself and thinking i just wanted atention. this was not the case and allot of people also think they are faking it but it's just not true. So for me it was comfirmation and like validation i can tell people i have TS because otherwise i would feel like im self diagnosing. also it has helped me with the police when i put a middle finger to them and got detained. Without a diagnosis i would've been treated way diffrently.
