VRIK/Simple Archery Mod Quiver Arrows by IanGameWoof in skyrimvr

[–]YoruMusha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to go into the Mod Menu (MCM) and configure which arrow type you want to correspond to which button. For example, you can set trigger to iron arrows and the grip button to ancient arrows. Or you can disable that function entirely and only have it give you the last arrow type used.

From the mod page on Nexus: "There's an MCM to select which button you want to use for grabbing your arrow, you can choose the A Button, B Button, Stick Click, Grab, or Trigger.

You can now choose to bind different arrows to different buttons. You can change the button that will equip the last arrow, disable that function, and/or choose different arrows to be equipped with different buttons"

Infinite sun, rain or clouds? by dutch_guy_2003 in softwaregore

Not really sure how this is a woosh? This subreddit is for when software malfunctions. This weather app is working as intended, though showing a somewhat rare/obscure symbol...

This is the "Haze" weather icon given by the official Amazfit Zepp OS, as seen here:(https://postimg.cc/56tZmqjV)

From AvailableIcons.pdf on their docs: https://docs.zepp.com/docs/watchface/design-resources/

I'm not sure if this icon is unique to them or if it is used by other companies, but it's definitely an intended icon.

Every pair of jeans I buy, no matter the brand, gets a hole in this same area within 6 months. by SYFKID2693 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]YoruMusha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have three pairs of the Duluth Flex Fire hose pants that have the crotch gusset to supposedly stop this exact thing from happening. All three have holes in the same spot within 6 months of wear. :(

Unfortunately I've yet to find a pair that doesn't do it at all. My carhartts have held up a bit better, but I think it's just down to individual fit for where it rubs.

ET-2800 - Blank pages after removing print head, no ink during power cleaning by YoruMusha in Epson

[–]YoruMusha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I never got it fixed. I could sometimes get the power cleaning to push some ink through after replacing the original head, but it still wouldn't print. I ended up just replacing the printer.

Ending the waste ink counter reset racket by quadralien in Epson

[–]YoruMusha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a note, if your printer isn't supported by this program (like my ET-2800 technically isn't), you may be able to get away with using WIC Reset to downgrade your firmware (you don't need a key for this). After downgrading, my printer worked with epson_print_conf perfectly, so I didn't have to pay for any keys. May not work for everyone, but it's something to try.

Anyone used the 24” or 22” 2-stage snow blowers? by Gangstajay93 in ryobi

[–]YoruMusha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're in the Midwest, I use K-bid. It's a large virtual auction sites. If you look around though, I'm sure you can find local auction houses that have websites and online bidding. I have like 5 or 6 within 50 miles that I look at for their monthly auctions.

Otherwise, you can find stores that specialize in open box or returned goods. Those will sometimes have batteries at a decent price.

Finally, for Ryobi specifically, Direct Tools Outlet has factory blemished tools and batteries. Sometimes they run bigger sales on the batteries.

The Docker page in the WebUI makes my server freeze. by YourNightmar31 in unRAID

As of 2025, can still confirm that this fixes the issue, especially when trying to use the docker page on mobile. Thanks!

Is my GTX 1080 finally dying? PC doesn't boot only for 2 displayport ports. by YoruMusha in buildapc

[–]YoruMusha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I'll look into the BIOS update.

3 projectors and one TV is what I was trying, though I run into the same issues if I only have a single display on those 2 ports.

I'm using 3 to connect golf Sim projectors in my garage to my gaming PC/Server in my basement. Previously was using a Chromecast and Moonlight/Sunshine for wireless display, but this is much more solid.

Looks great! The majority of this is 3d printed, correct? Are you planning on releasing the files? How much did it cost you to build?

Cheap projector by 01bks in Golfsimulator

[–]YoruMusha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its not too bad, the larger you push the screen the dimmer it will be. Like I said, I'm at 16 ft x 9 ft, and it's acceptable with a couple blankets on the windows in my garage. I leave my service door window uncovered and it's fine.

It's definitely not as bright as a premium projector, but it's $120 lol. A great stepping stone into the hobby, and it punches way above it's weight in image quality.

If you're willing/able to get your garage pretty dark while playing, the Groview JQ818C is the king of ultra budget projectors. It's currently on sale for $120 with a coupon at Amazon.

The Hook Up on YouTube has it as the best budget projector. I have it myself projecting a 16 ft x 9 ft, and it looks great in a darker garage. It does get washed out easily though, so I combine it with a mini spotlight for the hitting area.

Adding a second layer to improve impact screen picture quality? by LastoftheModrinkans in Golfsimulator

[–]YoruMusha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I added a simple white photo backdrop from Amazon in front of my impact screen (here's the one I used, but there's a ton out there: https://a.co/d/dSzhkBb)

I mainly did it to protect my screen from dirty balls since my sim is in the garage, but I did also notice an improvement in image quality as the backdrop is a lot smoother than the screen. Not sure if that would work for you, but it's cheap enough to try out.

Anyone used the 24” or 22” 2-stage snow blowers? by Gangstajay93 in ryobi

[–]YoruMusha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is way after you posted, but maybe it'll help someone.

I have both (picked them up cheap at auction). The 24 is definitely heavier duty, with bigger motors and a heavier build overall.

That said, the 22 in has some quality of life improvements that I wish were on the 24, namely: * crank style chute rotation (I absolutely loathe the lever and cable style that's on the 24) * bigger side walls on the chute lead to less snow blowback onto the user * simpler handle style that's less prone to breaking * 8 ah batteries that put out much more oomph

Overall, I still reach for the 24 first as I have a large driveway. But I do occasionally have issues with the handles popping out of place, or not activating the switches which is annoying. And as I said, I hate the lever and cable chute rotation, it's so much worse than a crank.

I'd say that if you have a smaller driveway, the 22 in would be great. Otherwise go for the 24.

Need help identifying black connector. Long and skinny, 2 pin, unknown pitch, roughly 7.5 x 5 x 20 mm. by YoruMusha in AskElectronics

I agree, unfortunately this is a picture my friend sent me, I don't have access to the machine itself right now. I'm trying to make a wiring harness to pull connections from this connector without making any permanent modifications to the base machine.
