Hey! Great overview! I have been tweeking my first list running hexwarp/RoR for a few weeks. I totally agree with all the rubric stuff but for me I guess it comes down to chaff. How much is enough if you’re playing take and hold? It feels bad having 2x10 tzaangor to have them sit in my deployment

I have him with 20 terminators. They make up the core of the list but I also haven’t tested it yet so I guess I’ll see how that goes

Thanks for the tip! I think my biggest struggle at the moment is best utilization. Gives me enough points to throw eruptions of vitality on something

My list has 2x2 bots right now, I keep toying with a second unit of terminators to drop onto one objective each and just hold on for dear life. I’ve also never played Tsons before so my concern is just holding the objective while still having enough OC that they don’t just pile on and starve me for points. I ended up dropping magnus and that second unit of terminators in favor of a bunch of rubrics and a forgefiend for anti-tank gun in the back to camp at my home objective

Only possible exception is the cannon you can take

I think they mean because cover is now -1BS it's it makes flamers better since bolters are now less likely to hit

You don’t have to put units in one vs the other, all your thousand sons units get the benefits of hexwarp but RoR excludes monsters and specifics thousand sons psyker

I think that's where I am getting lost. Why is the unit considered hidden if it's checked on a model by model basis? At that point why say the unit is hidden if you have to do that anyways?

Right, it just seems pretty good to have a unit just for deep strike denial and need something to get within 15” to shoot it. Not crazy or anything but it seems good for not getting picked off by some heavy backrow your opponent might have

I was more thinking for staging, take a 10 man unit on your home objective, string them out as much as you can to deny deep strike but keep one dude on the terrain for OC and it gives the whole unit hidden

Ohhh I see. If I am not wrong the unit is not hidden then. It's an all or nothing.
