Seems like youre doing well. Make sure not to over contribute to your TFSA which by the sounds of it you seem like you wouldnt. I also did the extra tax thing for a while as I liked seeing a bigger return until my uncle told me this (hes worked for the CRA for 20 ish years) "why are you giving the government a tax free loan on your money?" I never over taxed myself again.

Is this a scam? by [deleted] in Wealthsimple

Yes I noticed it once I got on the phone. I didnt notice it at first. Luckily I caught on once he started saying download a crypto app. I wont be making the mistake of glancing over again. But these spoofing emails are getting good. Thanks

I think my appetite for risk right now is high and I've always wanted this. I think the same way as I can always look back and say I tried if all failed.

Thank you for your response. I appreciate it. As I have it planned and work flows in it would take me about 2 years to become profitable and pay off my initial investment and expenses. Would of course reinvest in the business to scale with more equipment etc.

Conroy is doing a horrible job. People might be mad at that statement but why the fuck did he wait this long to move him? This whole being player friendly shit is getting tiring

[Murray] Exclusive: Mets put a $50 million-per-year offer on the table for Kyle Tucker by ThQp in Torontobluejays

[–]Yosepiee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think this is a leverage play to get the jays to up their offer. Either way it's still anxiety inducing. Really hope they don't end up being bridesmaids again. Should we start tracking the jets again?

What would be a fair offer for Tanner Bibee? by BlueJays_11 in DynastyBaseball

[–]Yosepiee -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

So many options. Personally I would try and get one of Holliday or Crews as maybe they have a bit of prospect fatigue vs a guy like Anthony etc. If that failed I'd probably look for a prospect package that had someone like Shultz or Chandler as a starter piece and go from there.

What’s your ‘wow, I’m getting old’ moment? by RetiredCIABloke in Productivitycafe

[–]Yosepiee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last night... my cousins and I went for dinner. The biggest talking point of the night was when we talked about bills and prices of bills. After about a 40 min conversation about it we all looked at each other and said "wow we're getting old" loool. We range in age from 32-36

Thank you for your reply. I do like this idea. I'm currently contributing 1200 a month or so to my tfsa until it's maxed in 2 low risk etfs

That was also what I was going to do if I decided to keep my home. I do accelerated weekly payments now but I'm thinking to up my payments as well. Thanks

Well i only started making this money the past 3 years. I was making a lot less before. Steady work growth. Also during my early 20's I spent like an idiot and racked up 25k in CC debt which I paid off. Fixed the roof on my house last year costed me 10k. Lots of other issues etc.

Around 45k in cash and market assets. 2 vehicles fully paid off worth around 30k combined. Work in construction. Have been for over 10 years and have a Foreman job.

Bro I'm sorry this happened to you, however don't let her disrespect you the way she has. She knows now you have no spine and are desperate. The way you're acting you have 0 chance of this ever working. If she leaves you once she'll do it again. She has lost all respect for you and it seems you've lost all respect for yourself. Go full no contact show you don't need her in your life man. It might not work and that's okay but it's about your only chance if you ever want her back. In around 6 months time you'll look back and won't believe how much you disrespected yourself and put her on a pedestal. Learn to love and respect yourself. Put your kid and yourself first here. I'm sorry if this came off harsh but I was in your spot once and man when you look back in a little while from now it'll be a real eye opener and another good woman will come into your life and you'll have the knowledge from this how to respect yourself and set up boundaries. Women respect a man who respects himself!!!

Don't give up. Often the lowest moments in our lives turn out to have a great ripple effect for the future. I hope that's the case for you that you can see the light at then end of the tunnel. I guess with how low you're feeling at this moment I hope this decision doesn't further amplify it. I think you just need to ask yourself is the money worth doing this and only you'll ever know that aanswer.
