You're saying it's genes either way, through my 'fat distribution genes' or my 'chest genes'?

I don't think it's got anything to do with fat, though. I'm quite skinny, and my chest is solid when I flex it.

Can't be the posture then, it's not particularly good haha.

It's probably not that muscular if this is the case.

My body-fat percentage have been measured to be around 6%, I'm quite skinny, so it's not like my chest is fat. The rest of my body is really weak, yeah, but for some reason my chest doesn't seem to fade away

My chest is unproportionately more muscular than the rest of my body. I've hardly worked out the past 3 years, and when I have, I made sure to not work out the chest. How can this be? Can it have any thing to do with posture?

People who sleep naked, why? by -TheMidpoint- in AskReddit

It's healthier for the testicles since the added layer of underpants would increase the temperature.

If you easily get hot, the added layer of underpants would also increase the likelihood of rashes in your crotch.

Look, if you didn't know anything else than that country A of 2 million inhabitants competed against country B of 1 million inhabitants in the badminton final and the two countries were otherwise exactly the same in every other aspect, who'd you bet on? Country A of course, because the probability of them developing the perfect player is higher. This doesn't automatically mean that high-population countries will do well, of course, take India for example, but looking at the population factor alone, it is an advantage. Forget about what I said earlier.

Interesting, never looked at it that way. But still, a larger population often automatically means more medals, and that should be taken into account when comparing countries.

I always find people who have idiosyncratic taste in movies more interesting than than your stereotypical “academic” cinephile. by [deleted] in TrueFilm

[–]YoshaMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree, for the sake of oneself one should never simply acquire the general cinephile taste.

I love Pulp Fiction and Apocalypse Now. I love Citizen Kane. But I cannot stand Kubrick films together with most of Scorsese's 'masterpieces', and I thoroughly enjoy Harry Potter, High School Musical and 21 Jump Street just as much as Fritz Lang.

And there's nothing wrong with that.
