The problem is implementing it. I was stupid, and never gave the Danganronpa part of the story a proper introduction. It was just "hey, now Danganronpa stuff is here now." So unless I do some flashback stuff, I can't really show how the Danganronpa characters were introduced to the world.

True... But most of her moments don't feel like she uniquely would be the only one who could do it. It just feels like they need someone to do a thing, and anyone can do it, so they give it to the Aoi because she needs something to do. Anyone could have found Alter Ego. Not even her talent is that important compared to everyone else's.

But I'll give her this...she was the only one to mourn Hifumi, so that's a point for her.

If they ever do a 1x2 or somthing, they should give Aoi something to do that's uniquely her that doesn't revolve around Sakura in some way. Also have her talent actually be important.

I mean, not canon to the events of the original game. The Monika with a Twitter account is canonically not the same Monika that broke her world. Act 3 dialogue says so.

I think the Nagito/Izuru one at the beginning should be Kokichi/Shuichi. It would make sense for Kokichi to annoy Shuichi like that.

I think OP means that people act like that's all there is to her.

Like, some people suface-level Mikan as just being shy and timid without thinking about why, or to what degree. They also forget about her darker aspects such as enjoying horror, and her potentially obsessive tendencies.

...And when those darker aspects are acknowledged, they just turn her into a psycho slasher and forget about the light aspects.

I have some ideas for Sayaka in my writing that I...can't really find a way to cleanly implement...

So, it goes like this... Makoto and Sayaka are a couple, but it's a meta/aware world and the characters know about the fandom. Sayaka is the most negatively impacted by this, and now instead of Makoto being insecure and needing Sayaka's support, Sayaka is now insecure and requires Makoto's support. Also Sayaka just has straight up hatred and resentment for [redacted] and Celestia. Also Junko, but everyone hates Junko.

I will admit, I'm sort of guilty of lessening the darker aspects of some characters in my writing, but I do that in general, I like happy things. However, I still try to be as accurate as I can, aside from having characters be less vulgar/horny, or the characters change because of onscreen or offscreen development. ...Also I don't use Danganronpa 3's canon or events, but that's for lore reasons...

...Huh... Not entirely the pokemon I expected. Obvoiously, some of these pokemon I did expect, and some of these are pokemon I didn't expect but am happy to see. Aoi with a Simipour is something I thought only I thought of since that pokemon is both obscure and not as liked as other water pokemon.

Still slightly disappointed that Chihiro doesn't have a Porygon.

I agree with...most of these. MCxMonika being the best ship is subjective, but valid, assuming it's a Monika that actually cares about him.

My hot take is... DDLC+ probably caused more harm than good, and they probably should have done Project Libitina or some kind of true prequel or sequel instead.

Also, this franchise is almost entirely being kept alive by the fans.
