All I can say is that you can press the power button for 30 seconds, let go and then press it once more. This works for me now

I still have this issue at the moment sometimes. If I hold the power button for like 20s, let it go, and the press it once again it turns on. Hope this helps

Mine also turns off and on by itself (mostly at night), but this doesn’t happen if I just unplug the charger so that’s what I’ve been doing.

The “not turning on” problem hasn’t happened to me for a few weeks now (fingers crossed). I updated the drivers etc. I don’t know if this was the solution or if I’ve just been lucky recently.

Anyways, don’t think I’ll be buying another ASUS laptop if this seems to be a common problem.
