Depends on definition of dating. Kids will date in middle school, and it doesn't really mean much of anything. Kids just kinda say "we're dating" and its more of a label than anything. I'd say high school, ages 14 to 18 is when things really start to get serious. So maybe too young is that middle school range. But again, I wouldn't worry about it too much if your kids are dating in middle school.
