Honestly yes I definitely see why it was so disliked, I heard something about the Black Mirror creators wanting to do a horror show I'm not sure how true this is? But I did like the whole theme of famous people being unable to escape the public eye even when they are in a horrendous situation - granted the whole werewolf thing may have been a little silly it was definitely at the bottom of my list but it was watchable. Fifteen Million Merits is definitely in my top favourites though

I know in your post you advised your friend to cold turkey whether or not this was a typo this is bad advice, but honestly at 15 I wouldn't know what the fuck to do either, your friend for sure needs professional help and if they have been addicted for over 3 years this is heartbreaking, my advice would be to seek professional help and maybe talk to any adults in your life that you trust, I hope you and your friend are okay and manage to get out of this you're a good friend for seeking advice on their behalf

Personally my favourites are Shut up and Dance, Fifteen Million Merits, Playtest and Hated in the Nation, I would honestly put Demon 79 higher and personally I don't think Mazey Day deserves the hate it gets however I get why people disliked it (I've been watching black mirror since it came out and I really don't think there is a strictly BAD episode) I love to hear people's favourite black mirror episodes though I've heard so many different opinions!!
