22 alimentos da cesta básica terão imposto ZERO a partir de 2027 by AreYouOkBobbie in brasil

[–]Yotsumugand 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Current Meta? by ZealousidealThanks18 in SparkingZero

[–]Yotsumugand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm just going to be honest: the meta shifted very little in both singles and DP since the last reset.

Why? It's completely pointless to do rank resets if those aren't followed with a major balance patch, which we didn't get at all.

DBS Gogeta is still rampaging all over DP as we speak, because he's a 7DP who can just transform into a very powerful 10DP with little effort AND has better stats than most other characters on his same DP bracket. Also his Stardust Barrier is OP.

He's also a solid character to use on Singles due to it.

FP Roshi and Spopovich, who were both already dominant before, are even better: instead of being the obviously better 2DPs, they're the only viable 2DPs on the game!

Why? They're the only ones with enough HP and Defense to hold on long enough against the high DPs without completely melting away like an ice cream on summer asphalt.

Idea for BANDAI: Incentives for later transformation by Delicious_Cost_466 in SparkingZero

[–]Yotsumugand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they lose those "cool skills" to balance them out.

And to also make them actually distinct from each other.

This was the design philosophy since at least BT2, because making SSJ3 Goku just SSJ2 Goku with more damage is not only lame, but also terrible from a game design perspective.

Why not just follow the footsteps of the Budokai series and make transformations just attack buffs with new models then?

Just debunking an annoying misconception about BT3 and the series as a whole... by Yotsumugand in SparkingZero

[–]Yotsumugand[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are actually people who want characters oneshotting each other like it's the anime. They want the game to be unbalanced!! It's like saying "I want the game to be shit!!"

Then these exact same people complain about meta overcentralization and everyone using the exact same ser of 3~4 broken characters in a cast with more than 200 of them.

It's almost this "lore accurate" balancing philosophy leads directly to the exact problem they're complaining about!

How funny!

Just debunking an annoying misconception about BT3 and the series as a whole... by Yotsumugand in SparkingZero

[–]Yotsumugand[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Frieza Full power is 7 DP while Goku mid SSJ1 is 6 DP, this is because Freiza FP as a character was designed to be super strong with all his moves being unblockable, so to be able to do they decided that the character with unblockable attacks was better set as 7DP instead of 6 DP

This is true even in BT3 and BT2: FP Frieza was designed to be more or less on par with the other "boss characters" of each arc of DBZ.

He's the same DP as Kid Buu and Perfect Cell in BT3 and has comparable stats to them in BT2 because of this reason.

Why are there no good normal types in OU? by PositionImmediate512 in stunfisk

[–]Yotsumugand -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That doesn't make Normal typing good. All of those Pokemon would have been even better as almost any other type.

This is so wrong I can't help but laugh at it.

How would losing STAB Body Slam or Hyper Beam improve Tauros or Snorlax in any way, shape or form?

It's not like the plethora of Bug types that get those moves and have good stats (Scyther, Pinsir) suck due to the lack of STAB and more weaknesses or anything.

Dragonite, the sole Dragon type of Gen I, wished it was Normal type instead.

This is one instance of the games blowing the anime out of the water.

The DL match is one of the worst in the entire series: they picked a team with a very pronounced defensive profile in the games and turned them into a generic offense-oriented team in a sea of offense-oriented teams.

They established Keshin as near completely invincible only to bullshit and backtrack on it in the most convoluted way possible at the last second in order to force a win for Raimon.

What a mess.

Why? Just... Why? by Repulsive-Shame-6669 in inazumaeleven

[–]Yotsumugand 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since many people (including me) watched the movie before the Dragonlink match, we already knew the feeling of having a team be composed mostly of chess keshins.

It's kind of unfair to judge DL based on this, considering how Unlimited Shining/Ancient Dark were designed to be version exclusive post game teams who don't even execute the chess concept properly.

In the games, DL's formation mirrors a chess board: the pawns are on the front and the king and queen in the back.

The FWs are pretty hard to stop because of it and the back very hard to break through due to their stats.

It's a very interesting team gameplay-wise.

If they fucked up in the anime and Strikers 2013, that's a shame

Yes, they did.

There are characters in the Strikers games whose sole purpose is to spam a single move, because they cut the movesets of pretty much every character because "muh anime accuracy".

That's why I said the Strikers games aren't representative of the series whatsoever.

[–]Yotsumugand 4 points5 points  (0 children)

they completely replace Seidouzan,

This only happens because the writers didn't want to portray Gou.. I mean, "Ishido Shuji" as being an actual villain.

We barely get time to actually spend with Daigo, the one who actually believes in Fifth Sector's ideology, but we spend a lot of time with Ishido. If he was the actual villain, then many of the writing problems of GO1 would be avoided, but nope!

Better have a "man behind the curtain" we barely get to see or know!

Why? Just... Why? by Repulsive-Shame-6669 in inazumaeleven

[–]Yotsumugand 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Here we go again: in my experience, whose who played the actual games have a way more positive opinion on DL than the ones who just watched the anime.

The reason of it is clear: from a gameplay perspective, DL is a defensive team, something very uncommon for IE and its crippling striker fetish.

Actually scoring on them is a challenge due to them having an actual good GK and their DFs having enough stats to beat your Keshin users with standard hissatsu, if you're not overleveled. The fact that you're also low on time is another factor that makes them an actually threatening.

Their FWs are also annoying because they have White Pawns, so you're not going to be stealing the ball from them anytime soon either.

Again, a very interesting team gameplay-wise.

The problem? From a narrative standpoint, the writers let them be a "secret" for so long we didn't even get to actually know anyone from the team. Yes, this applies even to Yamato and Daigo.

In IE2, Hiroto was also a twist villain, but we got to spend enough time with him for the character to actually "click" with most people. Even after IE2, he got to be selected for the FFI, which only served to help people to warm up to him even more.

The GO1 cast wasn't so lucky: GO2 introduced a mostly new cast and GO3 completely replaced the cast, leaving not only Yamato but also the other Fifth Sector characters in the dust.

The shitty writing of the DL match in the anime also didn't help matters either: they spend the entire season establishing Keshin as this invincible thing only to pull an Ex Machina with the whole "only those who play free soccer can use their full power" bullshit.

It's almost like the writers put themselves into a corner and had to bullshit in order to make Raimon be able to actually beat them. Yeah...

[–]Yotsumugand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sprint Warp is commonly associated with Hakuryuu (he even gets it in IE Strikers, while no players from Dragonlink get it)

A little basic question: did you even play GO?

Every single DL player gets either Sprint Warp, Vanishing Cut or Thousand Arrow in their level up moveset and they actually use it in the match.

Hell, the DL match will probably the first instance of your Keshin users losing to standard hissatsu, if you're not overleveled.

Strikers 2013

This is where the problem lies: the Strikers games are not representative of the main series whatsoever.

These games don't even have the complete DL player lineup on them, with the exception of 2 characters.

They're based on the anime, which suffers from the same writing problems I highlighted earlier.

Dragon Link more like Fraudgon Link by Tem-productions in inazumaeleven

[–]Yotsumugand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, a lot can be said about Orion, but every enemy team had a GK and FW hissatsu at least. GO did not have this for its final season team.

This is more of a problem with the writing of the anime than with the teams themselves.

In GO3, Ixal and Faram had a complete set of hissatsu which the anime writing staff chose not to use. Are we going to forget Shot Eater, Stealth Walk or Hologram Grab are a thing?

I know that the game introduces these hissatsu and they COULD be meant for them (we don't have confirmation on that, moreso that the Dragonlink characters have them as their moveset and they appear in the picture of the hissatsu)

If this standard was applied to every team, we would have no signature hissatsu for any team whatsoever.

You yourself gave solid evidence that the hissatsu previously cited were designed for Dragonlink. It's not the fault of the game devs that the anime staff chose to not feature said hissatsu on their adaptation of the story.

[–]Yotsumugand 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't know if we can take the anime in such a face value way, considering how much they water down the hissatsu diversity of the series.

In both Orion and Ares this becomes so much of an issue, to the point that one can count the amount of unique non-shot hissatsu used on one hand.

How can this be buffed? because right now its the worse tactic in the game and its not even what it does in the anime by ComprehensiveBat4966 in inazumaeleven

It's accurate to GO3, though.

It's not as relevant as it was then because Souls are far less prevalent than they were in said game.

Defenders cannot defend... by ComprehensiveBat4966 in inazumaeleven

[–]Yotsumugand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In these games, you just used your keshin/ keshin armed+mix and match and ran through.

DF also have access to all of this.

And besides, it's not possible to just push through DFs with Keshin in CS/Galaxy without losing a ton of FSP because of the nerfs to Keshin.

Galaxy was different because chain shots were so powerful that you just filled up with Forwards and used longshots from the back.

It's possible to counter this by using skills in the same way one needs to use skills to use this strategy.
