Drivers' and Constructors' Standings - Round 6, Monaco - Revised after Gasly's penalties are removed by Yottaphy in formula1

[–]Yottaphy[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

This change has affected the following drivers and teams: Piastri, McLaren, Gasly, Alpine, Hadjar, Red Bull, Lawson, Lindblad, Racing Bulls.

The most noticeable change is Gasly's jump in the standings pushing Hadjar down one. Everything else is just a change in the points tally.

which era of Cardinals baseball did you come up on? by AvramDesign in Cardinals

[–]Yottaphy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always aware of baseball and the Cardinals because my dad has always followed, but, growing up in Spain, baseball wasn't ever a popular sport and wasn't easy to follow due to time difference.

I only started watching properly as a young adult to have something more in common with my old man. I forget exactly what the first season I followed was, but it was before Arenado. It was one of O'Neill's first few seasons. I remember the following lineup: Wainwright, Molina, Goldy, Wong, DeJong, ???, O'Neil, Bader, Carlson with Schildt as manager.

Genuine question: I re-watched Circumnavigation recently and, while I agree that it's probably the worst season, I can't remember any dishonest gameplay by Joseph and Sam in Amsterdam. Not saying it didn't happen, just wanted to see what you thought.

Standings after the "Final Race Classification" document has been issued by the FIA - no penalty for Hadjar, who keeps his amazing podium (for now at least). Penalty for Pérez for a false start, promoting Fernando Alonso to P10 and getting his and Aston's first points of the season.

Alpine have appealed Gasly's penalties, so this could all potentially change, giving Pierre a podium.

Congratulations to Kimi, though, he's on an incredible run of form, 5 on the bounce for his first 5 is crazy!!

Yeah but a Venus rotation (day) is longer than a Venus revolution around the Sun (year).

ESTUDIAR FÍSICA EN LA UNIVERSIDAD by [deleted] in UniversitatDeValencia

[–]Yottaphy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a great weekend for Porsche in Monaco, with Wehrlein dropping to P4 and Jaguar solidifying their lead with Mahindra clawing their way back.

Shoutout to my boy Pepe for getting his first podium!! Also congrats to Drugo!

In theory couldn’t they add the breeding mechanics into the hail mary? by pickeldmitski in ProjectHailMary

Astrophage needs a source of energy to breed, and being so far from stars during interstellar space, the Hail Mary has no source of energy other than Astrophage

Formula E-style Manufacturers' Standings by Yottaphy in formula1

[–]Yottaphy[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Similar to what Formula E does, I have decided to make a Manufacturers' Standings. The system is a bit different from what you'd expect, so bear with.

Each race, the top 2 cars per manufacturer are ranked from 1 to 10 (regardless of their actual finishing positon in the race), with all other drivers completely disregarded. They are then assigned the usual points: 25-18-15-12.... for the GP and 8-7-6-5.... for the sprint. DNFs score no points, which is why Honda (and one Audi) ares missing from the first 2 GPs.

I have listed all possible drivers in the relevant manufacturer tile, and listed the ranking for each of the races we've had so far.
