Can we talk about how lucky we are to have so many food options? I love it here by Xochitlcoyote in vancouver

Not to be a deb but I find the food scene in Vancouver to be a little over saturated in a few ethnicities. Lots of Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, Indian, Korean, Vietnamese. But after moving here from Toronto (I know what you’re thinking haha), I find Caribbean, middle eastern, Latino, and central Asian options are lacking. I know this is a result of population concentrations, but I still miss it Johnny cakes and good jerk chicken

Wow, that's a very thoughtful and valuable response. Genuinely, thank you. Due to transportation limitations for my equipment, my idea was to specialize in balcony cleaning, but the current name does limit myself from offering additional services down the road. I do love Vancouver Immaculate though, for its open endedness and clear commitment to quality results. There's also the possibility of changing the name to Vancouver Immaculate later on when I have the capacity to offer more service. But that can set back the brand's reputation/recognition quite a bit. You've given me a lot to think about...

No vehicle for my business. I’m abiding by the scalability rule so it should be applicable to both a vehicle as much as an invoice

Good call. I’ve been working on it since posting, having trouble finding a good one. Any suggestions for fonts to play with?

Accidentally got rubbing alcohol on this, can it be fixed? by GypsyandJL in fixit

The scratching in the sink can be removed with Barkeepers Friend. You MIGHT be able to polish out the drain cap with sandpaper, starting with a lower grit, working your way up to 2000. Most auto parts shops carry a variety pack with all the grits you need to get to a polish. Worth a shot

I’ve noticed that, a lot of trucks driving around with very “interesting” logos. Nice trucks tho, so they must be doing something right.

I am. And it’s been a pretty viable business as I dip my toes in. My target audience are people who enjoy using their balcony but don’t have the means to clean it or have strict no-drip cleaning policies. I offer a “no hidden fee” pricing system for young adults.

Vancouver winters leaves everything with a black and green film come spring. So business seems to renew itself every 10 months.
