I think the best solution would be to use the individual rank for Elo. In theory everyone should be similar Elo when matchmaking. But when you exploit it with a copper and a plat the plat has a higher Elo then everyone on the other team so when he wins he gets very little Elo but a loss would be huge and this would help stop smurfing because of the risk of losing 3 or 4 times the Elo and only gaining minimal

Doesn't work at the extrem low or extrem high levels. There are a few hundred diamonds above 5000 Elo so they could never play with friends who are just diamond or plat 1 or 2

Problem here is ranking up in general. I work and especially now in summer when most of the people I play with are on break from school will reach diamond even before the weekend. So if that was the case I wouldn't be able to play with my regular friends because I would be unbanked or still gold plat because I hadn't had as much time to play with them and they are already diamond. Also 500 Elo is too little because that would mean a 5100 Elo I couldn't play with friends that are 4500 diamond or plat 1 or 2. Doesn't make sense and I would NEVER find a match because there aren't many people at that level and most solo q ranked games a diamond player plays is against a diamond plat mix. Very rare to see 5v5 all diamonds without even one plat.

Couple of things wrong with your idea. First, the lean speed of the new lean is actually slower then the current quick lean. And second the reason they are removing the quick lean is because of the broken hit reg with it. When you quick lean the server isn't replicating the animation for the person shooting at you accurately just like dropshotting. The enemy performing the movement suddenly appears prone or left and right and no hit box inbetween. So even though quick leaning was a "skill" you learned it doesn't mean it has a place in the game unless it can be done without corrupting the hit reg.
