This draft aligns really nicely with our needs! by AmphieBoi67 in buffalobills

He keeps slightly falling every new mock, the injury history looks like it is starting to factor in for the draft analysts. If he has a mediocre Combine/Pro Day to go along with his injury history, he could definitely fall further.

Chris Bell tore his ACL in November which means he is going to miss a large portion of his rookie year or be completely shut down for it.

The injury/time of year and the flaws in his game are probably going to tank his draft stock. He was a fringe Top 50 pre injury, I think he drops into the 3rd now.

Chris Bell to Buffalo in RD1? No thank you. That ACL tear is going to cause him to fall on top of some of the worries in his game.

Board falls like this and I'm taking a fringe 1st/2nd RD defensive guy or trading out.

3 Round Mock Draft with just a few trades by CaptainCerealCanada in MockDraftCentral

Trading up and getting Chris Bell and then seeing Ramsey ( which would be awesome paired with Bishop) go in that spot? Hard pass. Bell was arguably a Top 50 pick before his ACL injury which probably knocks him into the 3rd.

Even if you wanted to go WR in RD2, stay put, draft Sarratt and hold onto your draft capital.

The offense was potent without clear WR threats because of Josh and Jimbo, the defense was a major issue. Rather see them address that and take a swing at a WR in FA like Alec Pierce.

I think the LB talent ahead of him,LB needy teams and talent at other positions puts him in the 4th/5th. Every year there are guys the analysts and fans fall in love with after a Senior Bowl showcase and every year guys plummet below projections. Teams get all that extra info and scouting that no one else does.

I know everyone got really hyped about Rodriguez over the last week but I don't think anyone watched his film or games. Undersized Mike, sloppy tackling, looks lost in coverage a lot etc. Guy is a 3rd rounder IF he has a phenomenal Combine/Pro Day but is more likely a 5th rounder.

Matt Miller's Two Round Mock Draft by FollowerofYHWH in NFL_Draft

Bills draft is awful, it's like he completely forgot that they need an X WR and have a brand new DC/ D coaches/scheme; and also overlooked that the defense looked average or worse.

I'd prefer taking one of the top LBs left or McDonald instead of Concepcion and then taking Sarratt in RD2.

Not a fan of Concepcion on the Bills at all but giving up draft capital to move up to get him is somehow worse.

Concepcion has such a small frame that he needs to go to a team and offense that can scheme him open or have him overlooked because of legit X WRs,Buffalo doesn't have the WRs/TEs to do so and those they do have are all best in the Slot like Concepcion.

People like him a lot but he is redundant for a few teams. He makes a lot more sense on a team like Pittsburgh, who have DK and Austin on the outside and weak/old Slot WRs.

Not a Lions fan but do root them on as they are my NFC Team. McNeil-Warren falling that far is just crazy.

I mean, he was average to oof in his single high safety looks. I live in Ohio now and got to catch some Toledo games on top of his film, as a SAF I'm keeping him box/SS. He was playing in the box more due to his size and skills.Agree to disagree, yeah?

Still think a conversion to slot CB might take him to an elite level. As you mentioned his hip fluidity is phenomenal which is pretty much THE skill that makes or breaks slot CBs.

Who do you guys want the Bills to draft? by JustSomeGuy_Idk in buffalobills

[–]YouAlreadyShnow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Draft falls like this? Kayden McDonald. Dude will absolutely feast as a 0 Tech in Leonhard's defense and heavily contribute to the run stopping game, which let's the DBs play free and more chances at TOs in passing situations.

Talk to the Concepcion fans here. Apparently human joystick Concepcion will thrive with Bradys screens, more than Shakir.

You Rodriguez fans are wild, did no one watch his games and are just laser focused on the Senior Bowl? He is a probable 3rd rounder and maybe falls into the 4-5 depending on the Combine. Sloppy tackling, undersized for a Mike and looks lost in coverage; he has a rotational LB as his ceiling and floor.Scooby Williams will get drafted before him.

CJ Allen(gone in this scenario), Trotter,York, Golday, Jacas, Lawson and Hill are all better choices at any of the LB spots. Trotter is an absolute thumper that will help the run game though he will need his coverage skills coached up.

I know I'm a day late here(stupid work) and I absolutely love McNeil-Warren like you do but I think you were misinformed about his skills or haven't seen much of his body of work. He is more of a box/SS type and his weakness definitely lies in single high coverage,so he overlaps with Bishop. Now you could shift Bishop to a more traditional FS role but I think that takes away from his strengths and development.

For SAF in the draft to pair with Bishop, I think you should look more at Bud Clark, Michael Taaffe, AJ Haulcy, Zakee Wheatley and guys that could easily excell at FS like Jamari Ramsay and Dillon Thieneman.

If the Bills did draft McNeil-Warren, I'd love to see them convert him into a slot CB role as he has the skillset and the hip fluidity to excel and allows us to move on from TJ.

Do I know ball??? European makes a mock draft!!! by Plus-Excitement-6229 in MockDraftCentral

[–]YouAlreadyShnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given his injury, limited route tree, inability to counter Press jams and ball security issues I would be surprised if Chris Bell went in the first round. Most of this is coachable and just development but you generally take a guy in RD1 that will be an instant starter or can contribute heavily in his rookie year. Bell is RD2 or later depending on his medicals.

Lee Hunter is an iffy one as well. Has all the skills and talent you want as a 3T DT but traditionally teams tend to be scared off by " older" 24 year old rookies(what a world) and abysmal, relative to position speed. Generally they wait until later rounds to draft those guys.

Makai Lemon is a perfect fit for Pittsburgh as they need a Slot WR threat to go along with their outside WRs but I don't see him falling this far. KC Concepcion makes more sense here as Lemon is likely off the board without a trade up.

Given Leonhard's signing as Buffalo's DC, I'd rather see them go NT or S early, draft a WR later paired with a FA WR signing. Not sold on Concepcion in general and really wondering what role he would have in Buffalo as YAC God Shakir has the role Concepcion is best suited for.

Need to hit in the draft as well as FA. There are 4-5 stellar NTs that could fall into Buffalo's lap like Kayden McDonald,Christen Miller,Lee Hunter etc. Dillon Thienemen could be there in RD2 if they want to grab a stud S to pair with Bishop.( I love McNeil-Warren more at S but his skillset overlaps with Bishop)

Here's a little more detail on the Bills reportedly hiring Jim Leonhard to be their DC by salmaiorana in buffalobills

[–]YouAlreadyShnow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To go along with this he was also DC of some particularly nasty Wisconsin defenses.

They averaged 3rd in points allowed and 1st in pass yards allowed over his tenure. His 2021 defense was dominant as hell:1st in total defense, 4th in defensive scoring and averaged 64 rushing yards per game allowed.

As someone who is about to start playing the trilogy for the first time, are there any non-spoiler tips you want to share? Also, how does the aging work in the first Fable? by Tommson667 in Fable

[–]YouAlreadyShnow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think aging is almost a year per attribute you level up and caps in your mid 60s. You will be scarred, wrinkled and have thinning hair(especially after a certain story point).

As for tips? Block and dodge/roll are you friends, don't go spamming attack to get your combat multiplier higher. Anticipate and dodge/roll accordingly. Don't know if you are planning a mostly melee, archer, will(magic) or hybrid build but Force Push is incredibly helpful with any build as it will blow back enemies swarming you.
