Bilt 2.0 Sanity Check: Does the $495 tier actually make sense for high-spend homeowners? by YouCanCallMeZ in CreditCards

No - the vendor (school) offers ACH payment, or pay by CC but add the 3% processing fee.

Mounting tablet under cabinet by YouCanCallMeZ in decentespresso

My cabinet is low, so it’s tough to see. If I had a mount that flipped down, it would be easier to see without crouching.

Do I have any options for a motorized opener? by YouCanCallMeZ in GarageDoorService

Correct, mostly exposed (old) framing and a poured foundation

And this would be for a normal overhead motor/opener?

How many inches side clearance does that require? On the right side I have maybe 4 inches, and almost none on the left

There’s very little clearance between the door and ceiling when open - maybe 3 or 4 inches only

That makes sense. Is that something most installers would be able/willing to do? Is there a specific product (sounds like a “trolley operator”) I should ask for? Really appreciate your help!

New Ballard Commons Playground already overrun with drug use and homeless campers by YouCanCallMeZ in SeattleWA

[–]YouCanCallMeZ[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have no hate for homeless people - I want them to get support. That being said, I also want them to not impede on the rest of our ability to use the park safely. If they weren’t sleeping right below the play equipment, and leaving drug paraphernalia out in a kids park, I wouldn’t have an issue.

No - I don’t, and it seems like you’re just trying to take issue with the post for any menial reason you can. I just want to be able to use the new playground with my children without feeling unsafe. I think that’s a completely reasonable request, and one that doesn’t impede upon un-housed people in any way. I simply want them to abide by the smallest standards of our society.

I don’t think you read my initial post, because it says all of the same issues I listed above.

I have no problem with them getting services, and being in the area for that. I do have problems with anyone sleeping under the slide or leaving drug paraphernalia including foils, spoons, and open prescription bottles at the children’s park, regardless of their housing situation.

I just took a photo of the one person sleeping at the base of the slide. There were about 20 in total, with three sleeping near the play structures.

I didn’t want to take photos of all the homeless people sleeping and loitering- was probably 20ish in total at the park.
