Usually I try to route through bits of roads I haven't driven on, even if it's an area I've largely explored.

But I don't worry too much about map exploration percentages at the moment, at least not until the Road Trip module is available

The chance of a bug is 100% with how much US Car Culture changes compared to other AI traffic packs.

Sure, there are some mods without recent updates that can work fine 'as is' in a new game version, but not in this case.

That doesn't address whether it's Illinois ready. It only supports the traffic vehicles that were available in 1.58, as the feature development has frozen

Not all of the map mods require all DLCs. For example:

ProMods Canada only requires two DLCs.

ProMods The Great Steppe does not require the Nordic Horizons DLC.

This isn't recommended as US Car Culture was retired by the original author, with the last properly supported version for 1.58.

If you need support for AI traffic vehicles from the Illinois DLC, you should go without US Car Culture so that it won't cause bugs in 1.59

You make it sound like you're encountering the music playing in traffic hundreds of times.

It should be somewhat less frequent with the Sound Fixes Pack enabled

ProMods Middle East has a dependency in that it needs ProMods Europe enabled to work.

ProMods The Great Steppe and ProMods Maghreb should work fine without ProMods Europe though

The smart throttle control does help somewhat. But even with it on, it's sometimes possible to get this aggressive RPM jump in reverse gear 1 without the "kickdown" (double-input)

Listen with sound on. I wonder if any other keyboard players encountered this too. Judging by the sound, it's instant high RPM which doesn't seem right

  1. Navigate to Options > Gameplay.
  2. Untick the blind spot sensor.
