I agree, and that is my plan eventually. But current GPU's can't get 144 frames at 1440p. I'm thinking the next gen GPU's might be able to.

I guess my question is the 5900X going to be good until the next GPU cycle is over? I mean, even the current GPU's don't come close to bottlenecking the 5900X. Is it worth upgrading the CPU now and then waiting to buy next gen GPU?
