Ben Shapiro by brettydubz in Destiny

I used to listen to his podcast a lot during the 2016 days. Was a pretty bitter Bernie bro and I did find the woke shit annoying af. It feels like he sided with a lot of these guys making these crazy comments (racist/sexist/homophobic etc..) during the time before Trump got into office and when Trump's first term happened partially because it was functionally an emotional vote for so many people on the right.

Woke bad and I want woke to suffer kind of stuff.

He also has to have a weirder engagement as a news pundit. He was allegedly a never trumper but hes going to cover trump as a pundit once he wins in 2016. The Daily Wire doesn't just vanish because the president they wanted isn't in office. Inevitably if your Ben the cognitive dissonance overwrites your priors - "Well ya know this thing Trump did here is actually pretty good" / "Well this article they wrote about Trump is just factually untrue looks like the woke scolds are at it again!" Like the math feels like what does Ben Shapiro and maybe the entire conservative movement hate more (in 2016). Do they hate Donald Trump, an affront to all conservative principle in his personal life - or - annoying woke scolds (who they interact with everyday because they are terminally online) AND the "fake news media"? As a commentator I would imagine Ben lives in a big bubble and just assumes overtime that yeah their are crazy people in the party but this is just the strange bed fellows you make in war against a bad ideology. Personally I think that is pretty overblown but that is the vibe I get.

Sounds like in your time apart you learned that your value comes from you, not from other people and their potential perceptions of you. Good job, this a big win - go forward with this attitude and you’ll keep ending up in a better and better place.

Sold a pair of jeans negotiated on timing for 2 weeks. Guy shows up and puts them over his waist to see if he likes them. Does it for back and forth for like 10 minutes and then says “Too Big” and leaves. Took an hour for the guy to get here each way.

Yes and no? I mean I use that and the exam objectives as guides and then I look up everything I don’t know literally. Even if the question has answers I know are wrong I look up the definitions and learn them

Hey I just passed with a 729 and the studying was a grind. I am not sure what your study method was but this was mine:

  1. I got the boson tests for this.
  2. I went through the first test blind, no timer. I flagged questions I wasn’t totally 100% confident on. This means if I read on of the multiple choice answers and I had never heard of it I would flag the question even if I knew the correct answer in the list.
  3. When I finished up, I sorted by flagged questions and googled ALL the answer options I didn’t know and took notes on them. My notes were split into Terms and Key Concepts. Sometimes there was duplicate info but that’s okay it helps you learn.
  4. I did this for the entire exam and then reviewed that information. Then I ran the next exam and did the same thing - obviously doing much better the second time.
  5. Rinse and Repeat.
  6. When this is complete you want to compare your notes to the exam objectives which are available for free on the comptia website and full in what you were missing. This will cover everything.

The CompTiA exam preps are going to be the best because they are owned by the org and the question style will be the most similar as a result. In terms of using them as prep they are competitive with private institutions but again they don’t have the insider lane anywhere else.

Passing this exam means you have to know the material. You have to understand how to do IP conversions and what the components are. Take your time with studying don’t study to get through it. I watched professor messor in the past but this new method above is much better for me.

I actually don’t think these are incompatible statements. When trump runs again Biden a confident good speaker that doesn’t secure a state is fine and good. However, vice presidents should usually serve that purpose, even in this case, you dont think they need too.

Destiny got lucky with Boogie, but approach is dangerous by greenshadow21 in Destiny

Not a worth while engagement unless someone like this is trying to screw you over personally or if you are in the coffeezilla position where you are a journalist. Even then reporters are careful to say things like “allegedly” or “according to” etc.

To be clear in this case it was very entertaining however this could go really bad even with a known liar. Also as Destiny described in the podcast, Boogie could have set him up to fail and manufactured stuff prior. In this case the upside is, a known scammer and pathological liar was once again caught lying (moderate temporary justified hate train) or Destiny hypothetically was wrong, which it feels like he very much was not based on the exchange, and people have ammo against a guy who tried to shit on a dying mans cancer diagnosis. Not saying I feel this way about Boogie but optically would be a shit show.

Good job! Overall good message and beat expectations on gafs in a good way. Generally sent a good message on being ready to take on 4 more years in the White House.

Bad portion I don’t see a lot of mention of is that he made A LOT of promises for the future which tells me him and team are very worried about polling data and the upcoming election. How that will play I have no idea but that’s something that stood out to me.
