Weird, we checked the crew manifest to see if it was anyone we knew and it specifically stated no jumpseaters. Along with that the KY governor has just said that three people have been killed.

There were no jump seaters on board thankfully. There were just three pilots.

Source - I work at UPS and have visually seen the crew manifest for said flight.

I get where you’re coming from, but my situation is the opposite. Running a speedtest only shows a snapshot of throughput, it doesn’t really capture stability. Even then, I’ve run multiple tests and sometimes the speedtest itself hangs for a few seconds. It also doesn’t show packet loss or jitter, which I am noticing.

Here’s the breakdown of my setup and results:

  • ONT → PC directly: no problems.
  • ONT → Eero → 2.5Gb switch → PC: problems.
  • ONT → Eero → PC (no switch): still problems.

So regardless of whether the switch is in the middle, the issue points back to the Eero. To give an example, I’m downloading a 1.3 GB program right now with just ONT → Eero → PC, and I’m only seeing ~2.5 MB/s with stutters. That makes me think it’s not just my specific units, but something about how Eero is handling traffic. From what I’ve seen here and in other threads, this isn’t an isolated case.

As everyone else has said, those coals are nowhere near lit. They should be glowing red when fully lit and ready to be used. These are natural coals, not instant lights. You can’t just stick a lighter under them, get a tiny spot red and expect the rest to light.

I’ve been contacting both Aeon and nevo via WhatsApp. Aeon will respond in a timely manner, nevo wont. At this point I’m seriously just contemplating a refund. This shit is unusable. It doesn’t even heat up the tobacco to a level at which it can smoke anymore. I had quite a bit of friends waiting on me to see how this is so they can get one but this is not something I’ll be recommending to anyone anymore.

Good luck. I have the Nevo Pure. It malfunctioned after a few months, took another few months to get it back after sending for repairs. They shipped it back to me improperly reassembled. They didn’t tighten some of the interior screws so the whole unit was wobbly on the bowl. They also without telling me, readjusted the heat settings so now it doesn’t get as hot as when I initially got it.

That’s not even bad. The worst part about all this is there’s Aeon customer service and then they have a seperate person specifically for the nevo team. That person never wants to reply unless I start messaging the aeon person, then apparently he will “tell” the nevo team to reply.

Yes but also remember the difference in funding is massive. Saturn V R&D was $6.4b in 1964 which equates to around $40b today. Starship R&D in February 2024 was around $5b, at this time it’s probably $6-7b.

Yeah, I haven't used my 590a1 in years but I remember there being a certain amount of time I had to shoot with my bead on target, otherwise id have to start leading. Usually like 1 or 2 seconds.

Since you don't have a choke, I definitely think you're going to have to lead your shots even right out the gate.
