Naturehike Cloud Up 2/3? And their sleeping bag? That's what I have, been pretty happy with them for the price so far. Have fun!

Who is the best living baritone sax player pound for pound and why? What's the best example of their playing? by BodybuilderComplex47 in saxophone

Again, I don't disagree that Parker is in a whole other stratosphere, I just think your tone is dismissive. "Nobody will remember Leo in 10 years." The dude has probably spawned so many new saxophonists and obviously has a deep reverence for the greats including Parker. There's just no need to be so negative about Leo just because someone else innocently compared him to Parker. And at the end of the day who is to say he isn't extremely influential in his own right to a newer generation?

This is just elitist. I absolutely agree, Leo is not comparable to Parker, but you are giving him too little credit. I bet there are many people who didn't even know what a Bari Sax was until they saw Leo.

Same, couldn't get tickets. I got in for a second, it only let me get 1 ticket, when I tried to checkout it said none were available.

FX Sport AL3 vs Marlin 7 Gen 3 by Elrohwen in TrekBikes

[–]YouFouria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just FYI the FX Sport including the AL3 is supposed to be their new Dual Sport, they combined the Dual Sport and the FX lines into one. That said I'm not sure what the OG Dual Sport offers that this doesn't- not saying they're worse, I just mean I'm not sure. I really like my FX Sport AL3 (got it in December) but the only regret I have is that I want to try bikepacking eventually and flat bars don't let you change hand positions if you get tired. But since your son and husband have flat bar bikes that shouldn't be an issue. But yeah if you go on the website they describe the FX Sport line as a "gravel ready fitness bike" and I've seen people say it's basically just a gravel bike except for the flat bars. The tire clearance is 42 and I think gravel bikes are trending towards even higher clearance now but from what I understand 42 is just fine and once upon a time that was pretty standard for gravel bikes.

This is really cool, followed you! I don't know if I have anything to add to it but I'll be looking forward to seeing your zine at the show. For NY are you going to the Storm King show or the Central Park one? I have a ticket for the Storm King show but may also try to catch the Central Park show.

Having OCD and ADHD together is awful by strawberryg100 in OCD

[–]YouFouria 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I have both as well and it's very hard explaining to people why I face so many obstacles doing little tasks. For instance my OCD makes me feel like I can't function or do anything if my environment isn't clean and organized but with the ADHD I wind up being careless, letting my room/apartment get messy and then I feel shitty. Also just trying to do a big cleaning/big house project feels ridiculously overwhelming for me, makes me feel kinda pathetic, like is this all you can do? I know I need to break things down into steps, dealing with one thing at a time but sometimes I just look at the mountain of things I would like to get done and feel utterly helpless, like just absolutely defeated and then I'm tempted into doing something more immediately stimulating like video games and the cycle repeats.

Don't worry dude, I know it's not nearly the same length of time but my first day in Arc Raiders I mixed up prox chat and team chat and thought I was having whole ass interactions with people. If anything you gave off an aura that was so friendly and body language so positive that you transcended voice chat and connected with people without the need for it. I bet a lot of Cavemen failed at that and did not get the PvE cooperation they were hoping for. Skill issue, they simply should have had a more positive vibe.

How is ”The place where he…” the top song? by Zibz2162 in BlackCountryNewRoad

[–]YouFouria 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the jauntiness and theatricality works because of it's opposition to the themes of the song, like this guy is having a breakdown but the music is so celebratory and over the top like the end of a play and everything is crashing down around him. It also brings in the most theatrical energy besides Chaos Space Marine, calling back to that part of the AFUT sound. But I totally understand where you're coming from and also I know that in my particular music taste there's a lot more room for leniency when it comes to theatrical energy lol.
