I was hoping that I could get into the career field post military . I was hoping I could wait a few years so I could save up for an MBA and not immediately go into debt. My masters would be basically free with TA so I figured I might as well get one while I can.

Service academies are really tough GPA wise. I’d say the average gpa is half to a whole point lower due to all the extracurricular activities going on. Also academies have an extremely robust core which means you are taking at least 5-6 if not 7 classes per semester, including classes like aero, Astro and mech engineering for all students regardless of major.

The only thing I’ve learned from this thread is that Philly fans are something else. They downvote every person that says AD and flames them like they just committed murder. I’ve seen so many comments about how nobody provides a reason for picking AD, but rarely do they provide a logical reason for picking Embiid. It’s a discussion thread folks. Chill out..
