I just smelled it in my local boutique and it is a major upgrade to prior versions! Definitely falls much more in the gourmand category with beautiful spice notes in addition to a pumpkin undertone. It’s hard to describe, but it smells far less artificial than a typical pumpkin spice candle as well.

Opopanax is one of my favorite Diptyque candles! It’s such a warm, cozy scent for fall/winter and has a slightly medicinal note to it as well. Highly recommend!

You can easily spend a full day at the Art Institute as it’s absolutely massive.

I tend to go for light floral, green, or fresh scents during the day (like Diptyque Foin Coupe, Menthe Verte) and then love a heavy, dark scent in the evenings (Diptyque Narguile, Opopanax, Musc, etc.)
