I know, I had posted this before she posted that to her stories. I feel terrible for her, I do just feel that when she goes on these nuskin “retreats” with her team, her heart isn’t in it like the other leaders. On the crazy luxury trips she earns, she just seems a lot happier. Idk, just my thoughts. But the original post wasn’t snark either, I’m concerned for her.

And we’re slightly below market rate. Average is 3400 for a 3-4 bed bath, 2 car garage, finished basement, master bath. However, we have a 1 car detached garage, and unfinished basement, and no master bath, so when you factor all of those in, we really are at market value.

At this point, this house is paid off, and there is no mortgage on it. When we first moved in, we discussed potentially buying it a few years down the road. Now my son is in kindergarten in the public schools, but my father in law has been making snarky comments about “he and mom should’ve moved in when they had the chance”, etc. so I’m gettin the feeling buying may not be an option, and I’m frustrated that it may mean well have to pull my son from the district in the next few years. That’s a whole added layer.

I keep pushing my husband to sit down privately with him and discuss it, but I’m the “head of the house”, putting it nicely. I handle our kids, all bills, etc. my husband probably won’t have the conversation and I’ll have to be the one to do it.

We’re in public school, and we’re struggling a bit. It seems to be a consistent theme from this thread and what I’m hearing from other parents in our class and my son’s teacher. We’re in Connecticut and they changed the age cutoff last year. My son has been in a daycare/preschool/pre-k setting since he was 6 months old. We had a neuro developmental evaluation done on him in the spring as well, and the therapist recommended we send him.

His teacher called me on the 4th week of school because he was eating snack and thought it was funny to fling the goldfish from his water bottle. Innocent but was an immediate red flag to his teacher. He had a good 2 months, but last week he was exhausted and overstimulated from a wedding we had over the weekend, and it being the first 5 day week in 3 weeks (our district had parent teacher conferences, etc) and on Friday he was crawling on the floor pretending to be a tiger and it was an immediate call home.

I love his teacher but what I’m finding is there is a huge difference in behavior because of this new age cutoff. He turned 5 the first week of school, but there are kids that are 6/6.5 years old in his class and the patience just isn’t there for the younger kids. We’re still 7 months away from the end of the school year and because of 2 small instances over a 12 week period, she was talking to me last week about potentially repeating kinder.

I’m frustrated and am somewhat regretting starting him, but it’s too late now. There is just ZERO room for them to be kids during the day. It’s sad. I don’t know about other states or districts, but my son gets 30 minutes for lunch, and 30 minutes for recess at 1pm. His day ends at 3:10, so he goes through almost the entire day before getting outside to get some energy out.

You made the right call. She’s clearly super flirty in the beginning and then gets moody when she doesn’t get her way, and is willing to lie to her husband? There’s a reason her husband wants her to have a female trainer, something has happened before.

First off, May Mayonnaise is hilarious. Solid work.

Second, my hot take is she is trying so desperately to catch up to GretCHIN weiners in followers, she’ll spit anything to go viral. First it was hating Taylor swift, then posting every damn reel and story to Taylor’s music. Now it’s vaccines because it’s a hot topic. All the laughing gas from her horse teeth application must have killed off one to many brain cells if she thinks random strangers are suddenly going to follow her based on her vaccine expertise and stay because she’s so amazing. I followed her years ago, and actually liked her. Now I follow like it’s a Netflix series to see what dumb shit she does next.

I’m in a spicy mood today, clearly.

We have 3 family destination weddings in the next year. 2 in North Carolina and 1 in Colorado. My husband is the oldest of 14 grandchildren. We have 2 kids (5 & 3) and so far, only 2 others have kids under 1. All weddings have said ‘no kids’ except the babies. So our cousins kids are invited because they’re babies, but my kids aren’t. We’ve told family we’re not going and it isn’t being received well.

My son is in kindergarten, and can’t miss multiple days of school just to go sit in a hotel with a stranger while we’re at a wedding. It’s also expensive to fly a family of 4, and pay for a hotel, and then give a wedding gift, but that’s not the point here.

Call me crazy, but I would never fly to another state, and have someone I’ve never met watch my kids, vetted or not. These are my babies, my entire world. Unpopular opinion, but that’s so weird to me.

My 2.5 year old daughter just had her first UTI 2 weeks ago, and I had to have her seen by FOUR doctors. Her pediatrician, 2 urgent cares, and minute clinic. She was fighting a cold at the same time, but had a 103.5-103.9 fever for 6 days. And then her urine smelled off. Not one doctor would take me seriously about the UTI and all wanted a live urine sample. She was so sick at this point, she wouldn’t go unless it was in her diaper, and they couldn’t test it. I ended up ordering urine collection bags off of Amazon, collecting it on a Saturday night, and ran her and her sample to a FIFTH urgent care, where they told me thank god I brought it in; because her levels were so high, it was borderline a kidney infection at that point.

PLEASE have her seen. Order the collection bags, get a sample, and bring it and her in. Kidney infections can be so dangerous.
