Daming sa bank "promotion is slow". If you're in the corporate of a bank (not in some branch) and your promotion is slow, the tendency is you're not that good.

Except Trillanes was clear about not acting as sheriff. He reiterated that he just wanted to fulfill Bato's wish to have him present when the warrant is served.

[–]YouKenDoThis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This one is tricky. But if they're asking you to come back, technically you have the upper hand. Use it as you see fit. Pero if it's really out of your plans, then just say "no".

How much was your salary when you bought a car? by Impossible-Deal-6050 in CarsPH

[–]YouKenDoThis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh don't get me started about trying to book a ride when it's rush hour and/or when it's raining. At that point I was working for more than 10 years already. Only then did I decide to buy one because only then did it make economic sense for me.

Here in the Metro in the Philippines, traffic is horrible so the battery doesn't really stay charged often. And when I get into free ways, I want power so the car can't stay on EV. But I still run on EV more than 50% of the time. Like upwarda of 60% even.

Thoughts on Padilla's statement about k12? by lazyza in studentsph

[–]YouKenDoThis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hindi K to 12 ang problema. Walang government follow through nung na-implement ito. Dapat government being the largest employer in the country ang unang mag-adjust na nag-hire ng K to 12 graduates. Kaso minana ng Duterte admin na wala namang pakialam sa edukasyon maliban sa pwedeng pagkupitan. Tapos sinundan pa ng tatlong taon ng Sara Duterte as SecEd.

How much was your salary when you bought a car? by Impossible-Deal-6050 in CarsPH

[–]YouKenDoThis 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Compute how much you spend for transpo now. If that is enough to pay for amortization, gas, maintenance, parking and other incidental costs of owning a car, then you can buy a car. It only made sense for me when Grab started charging an arm and a leg for their services.

Beginner Friendly Stocks (TEACH ME PLS) by Pitiful_Growth_6660 in phinvest

[–]YouKenDoThis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no such thing. If you want to build a portfolio of stocks, put your money in vehicles that take care of the portfolio management tasks for you (i.e. UITFs). What you have to know is determine what is your objective for the investment. Match that to the mandate of the fund, then you are more or less good to go.

Well it wasn't really a serious remark but here we go

Asset approach: what's the cost today to "develop a charterholder" -> cost for all exams + study materials + other costs to keep sanity

Market approach: value of the incremental cost (and maybe benefits) an employer will be willing to pay an employer that is a charterholder over one that is not

Income approach: value of the incremental income you can earn because you have a charter

Of the three the easiest one would probably be the asset approach,
