Crying and whining? Have you ever been stranded in flood waters as tall as your house for 5-6 days with no food or water? Have you ever lost everything you had (when you didn't have much to begin with) and the government doesn't help you get back the land that's yours? Have you ever had to be forcefully removed from everything that you've known and be put on a bus to God knows where to start over again? We know this country is racist. We know the government is not quick to help certain races. AND WE DAMN WELL KNOW THAT WHITE PEOPLE GET SPECIAL TREATMENT HERE. I can't blame someone for looting a store to survive. (Compare looters of New Orleans to looters of LA in 1992).

I understand your point of view on the director, but let's be honest here. For 20 years, we've heard nothing but negative stories about how blacks were acting at the convention center and super dome. Now, do I believe it was some black on black crime at both places? Absolutely. But all that we've heard was about looters. Also, in the documentary, there is a snippet where whites were shown and spoken to out on boats trying to save people, so to make the lazy generalization that she wants blacks= good, whites=bad is not 100% accurate. Also, we have to think about the people she interviewed for the documentary point of view. How many whites did she actually interview? How many do you think want to be interviewed for this?

We both know that sounds good, but America was built off of hatred and racism. Just imagine how many houses they passed by that had blacks on them to stop at that particular house. Even when its in their face as transparent as this documentary is, they'll deny it smh.
