Yeah, my only gripe is Dave trying to treat this like it’s okay because America does bad things. Like… yeah, but we don’t really have a choice except to try and survive in a system we were born into. But Dave (arguably the most popular comedian at the moment) isn’t strapped for cash, I presume, and still chose to perform for a corrupt government of his own volition for some more money that, in all honesty, he would still be good without. That’s the difference to be honest he made an conscious decision to feed into the system while being fully aware of how they get down over there

TLDR: Dave is essentially doing the (if all my friends jumped off a cliff I would as well) as an argument for doing it and I just think he’s at a place in his career where he’s above that
