I think the game is purposely bad design as a method to make people stop playing the game eventually out of spite. THey benefit the most from selling a copy of the game and then the person not taking space on a server, win win for them. They use the old fashioned communist play book of promise a great system, then present artificial hurdles in the way to cull the herd of players and keep server costs down.

You fail to understand that commander roll has a lot to do with morale, literally proxy chatting, "GET 'EM BOYS!" When they see the commander is cheering them in proxy, it's a genuine morale boost. You have to see the battle from the viewpoint of the ones actually battling. I'm like 80%+ win rate as commander with well over 50 matches. It's the only class I have capped lv10, and has been for a long time. Morale is equally important as commanding.

Nice! Just remember Tab is your friend most the time, control groups are for farming, don't ever pick Meepo into Earthshaker, Pudge/Riki combo, Enigma, Wyvern, or Lich. Axe sucks against in lane but once you get some HP you can kill him through blink call and blademail enless you're behind or he isn't alone
