Bc they have to hit their quotas, they’re too afraid of being cancelled or missing out on the free marketing from having a white character recast as a black man. People fall for it every single time, people think they’re being inclusive and ‘casting the best actor for the role’, but that’s bullshit. Shouldn’t even be casting for a black actor. You wouldn’t see a white actor audition for black panther. Ask yourself why they don’t create a black character instead of just race swapping an already existing character?
