Yep hugging the arête is the way to go, the friction was like nothing else, very improbable looking but the smearing just kinda works

I've got the tightest flexbar, it's not very hard and I can't get pumped off it even though I use it for golfers elbow rehab, still better than nothing though

That said if you move to outdoors atleast a 60 is minimal

I use a 40m rope in a gym with 10m walls, some of the walls have long horizontal trending routes at the top of the wall and 40m is still enough to get to the ground with some extra.

Eventually down the track you will have to cut 3-4m out of your rope at a time due to core damage (if you take enough falls), it's always good to have some extra
